The most consuming part was putting the sand in the stand. The instructions for that were not there for how much sand was needed. Love that it covers the area I needed to cover and can move around to accommodate the sun during the day

Came quickly and was easy to assemble and works perfect for our outdoor patio. By mid afternoon, our seating area is in the direct sun and very uncomfortable. This made it usable again. We close it up every night, but we do get high winds down here in the plains during the day and it holds up great- very sturdy and well made.

Easy to set up, but it takes a bit of time to fill the base with sand, you need to supply the sand. Very large, rotates easy, tilts, cover included

This umbrella was easy to assemble. Great directions. Heavy duty stand. Took 5 50lb. bags of sand to fill base. Opens easy tilts with ease. Holds up well with a good breeze. I love it!!! Well worth the price and comes with a very nice storage bag.

Not as sturdy as the one we originally bought a few years ago and replaced with this one it is our second one we have had to buy and pretty floppy which can cause damage if at all windy

I decided to buy this umbrella because the base is included. The umbrella was delivered with great care to my patio. I set it up myself. It is not difficult to assemble but, if possible, do your best to put the base where the umbrella will open. The sand and water recommended for the base pieces (4) make each of them very heavy. Easy to open, and the umbrella provides the shade I needed for my patio.

Extremely sturdy! We weren't sure how well this would be made, as we've seen so many models with plastic pieces that could easily break. The fact that most of the parts are made of metal is reassuring. It was easy to assemble and the umbrella tilting, opening and closing features work smoothly. We hope it lasts for years.

Really pleased with this umbrella, bought one similar at Sam's a few years ago. This one seems to simply be an upgrade to that one. This one is much easier to operate. It was an all day job for my husband to put together and there are times where you definitely need two people. But in the end well worth it. It's very sturdy, (filled with sand & water), mechanism for raising & opening works smoothly, base is much improved older version. One thing we wish is that the material was a bit thicker to shade the light a tad more. But then it would probably be harder to raise/lower/turn if fabric was heavier. Overall we love it!
