KitchenAid 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer with Attachments

Was given as a Christmas gift last year and I'm more in love with it now...I use it all the time

Great deal!

KitchenAid 5.5 Mixer died after one use.
Followed all trouble shooting tips to no avail.

Bummed Out

I decided to upgrade my mixer when this one went on sale. The smaller one I had before wouldn't shut off (the slide lever needed repairs). I have a small home based cookie business so I use my mixer to make alot of dough & icing.  My 5 qt is probably 15-20 yrs old and still works but could use a tune up. I love that this new one has slower options. I no longer have to deal with flour flying out of the mixer because the lower level lets me slowly incorporate my dry ingredients. This also came with an extra smaller bowl and a cool spatula with a clipped tip that makes it easier to clean off ingredients off the blade. Very happy with my purchase. I also love the color. I chose "Ice" which is aqua. The picture looks like it has a more sparkly/metallic finish, but its actually matte.
