[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old KitchenAid mixer was starting to make a grinding noise, so I decided to buy a new one. After all, the mixer was 15 years old! I like this one, but just ordered the Flex Edge Flat Beater for it as I had to keep stopping and scraping the bowl. I use the mixer mainly to make icings for my cakes and cupcakes as I do a lot of baking for my friends and neighbors. I had such a good experience with my original KitchenAid, so it was a no brainer to get another one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this KitchenAid 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer. It is strong and sturdy. It has plenty of power and has worked great for the things I have mixed with it. I was surprised at how simple and easy it is to operate once you become familiar with it. The bowl firmly snaps into place and is held very securely but also pops out with little effort when you are ready to remove it from the stand. A lever moves the lift up and down. There is also an adjustment screw to fine tune the bowl placement so the beater or whisk just barely clears the bowl to maximize mixing without hitting the bowl and causing wear and damage. It is simple and easy to attach and remove the various attachments. There is a wide selection of speed settings so you can work to your needs. The color finish of the stand is beautiful and very high quality that will not be easily damaged. It is easy to clean. The materials and build of the stand are very high quality. This is a very sturdy mixer that will last a long time. This set comes with many pieces. Having the smaller bowl as well as the regular size bowl is really nice when I'm working with small amounts. The different attachments are great for different jobs and the spatula is shaped just right to work perfectly with this set up. All of the included items are high quality, function great, and are very durable. This mixer really does make things easier and more convenient. I am happily surprised at how much difference it makes. I am so glad I tried this mixer. I highly recommend it.

I bought this 5.5 Bowl-Lift (Mineral Water) from Sam’s Club. It sounds great and did great when I made Peanut Butter cookies. I took a chance making the cookies after a sharp metal fragment fell from the planetary when testing it first. Could have been life threatening. The fragment was painted on one side so I thought that it was from around the shaft that wasn’t sanded down before assembly. Manufacture’s error. The fragment was aluminum, broke in half when bent. Also, the 3 quart bowl and the combi-whip doesn’t work together. The whip hits the bowl and I don’t want to keep adjusting the bowl-lift adjustment screw for it because the 5.5 bowl and attachments works fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the bowl lift feature on this mixer! It’s very convenient and isn’t messy! It is very sturdy and the bowl locks in so it’s stable. There are 11 different speeds which is great for all different kinds of recipes! I use this for making cookies, bread and pizza dough, mashed potatoes, etc and the 5.5 qt bowl enables me to make more in one batch! This one came with an extra 3 qt bowl and spatula, so that was an added bonus! This is such a timeless piece of kitchen equipment that I’ll have for years to come! It’s professional quality and the blue color looks great as an accent in my kitchen!

I no longer have flour clouds in my kitchen while I’m working. And most of the old attachments work with the new mixer. I couldn’t ask for a better appliance in my kitchen.

I now make dozens of cookie dough from scratch in the matter of an hour vs all day when tirelessly beating the mix by hand! It also has a half speed setting so no splattering messes happen while adding ingredients. The extra attachments (flat beater, dough hook splatula, and 2 wisks) were a fantastic surprise that makes this completely ready for use straight out of the box! This mixer is built to last and built to do so many things! I have made cookies, pupusas, mashed potatoes and banana bread in one week!

We decided to upgrade since we needed something a bit bigger and more efficient for our large family. The kids can easily whip up some dough for their cookies and brownies and the rest of us can use it for many other needs. This specific model has a large enough bowl and it includes many accessories. Not only does the mixer look great, it is very powerful as well! Totally recommend to all!

The ability to select the speed we need and the various attachments make mixing batter, dough, and even shredding chicken super easy. This mixer came with an additional smaller bowl, attachment, and spoon for making whipped cream and spooning it out. Absolutely happy with this mixer and the color brightens up our dark kitchen!
