Has to be turned off an allowed to cool before it can be used again and that is with it being on low speed. I am afraid to use any higher speed.This was a Christmas gift from my son and his family. This one has a 3 point locking bowl which provides additional stability for mixing heavy dense ingredients. There are 11 different speed adjustments so it is easy to control from high speed to low speed. We have been using it for kneading, mixing, shredding as part of our daily cooking chores. There are 10 additional mixer attachments that helps with experimenting new items like pasta, burgers and then ice cream. My cooking time in the kitchen has certainly been optimized and not I cannot live without it. A must have for every mom and dad who spends a good portion of their time on cooking on a recurring basis.

I love that the mixer lifts for easier access. I like that you can buy different attachments that you can use to make pasta, pastries or even grind meat. It comes with a flat beater, dough hook and 6 wire wise. The color is nice also.

This mixer is by far the best and most powerful I have yet to own, as it has 11 speeds to choose from, with half-speed options. The bowl is simple to secure and with 5.5 quart capacity, I never have issues with dough quantity in my home! This mixer comes with several attachments-- including a wire whip, large and small, dough hook, etc.. Operation is simple and flawless, and this unit is quiet and simple to clean. I adore the beautiful blue color, as it is classic and chic. Just such a wonderful addition to any bakers kitchen!

I’ve always said I wanted one but never got around to it so I was excited to get it as a gift; especially since I love baking. I made a few different cakes so far and I was so shocked at how easy it was to use. Once you adjust your settings fo where you want the bowl to sit, it’s easy peasy. If used appropriately, it will give you beautiful results. I look forward to getting the other attachments and making other foods.

It mostly dies what I bought it for, bread making.Seems a bit under powered though, frequently struggles while developing gluten. I do like the smaller bowl and whip.

It makes trying new recipes fun. I make homemade yeast rolls, but the arthritis in my hands makes it difficult to knead the dough. The dough hook has been a game changer for me. I am so glad I made this purchase.

My schedule has been so that I couldn't spend any time in the kitchen, until today. I decided to make bread, and let me tell you, the mixer was AMAZING!! The dough hook did it's job, and I loved being able to regulate the speed from 1/2 up to 2. It was nice to not have to knead! Now that it's "broken in", and my schedule has calmed down, I can't wait to use it more!
