This is a very good mixer, especially at this price. I made a double batch of cookies the first use and was really impressed by the power. Sam's has this package with the extra bowl and whip, the only thing making it more of a bargain than elsewhere.

I loved my old mixer, but needed to upgrade the size. During my first use of this mixer it quit and wouldn’t turn back on. I’ve finally got it to come back on after awhile and it has worked since then, but it was pretty disappointing because I thought this was a heavy duty one.

!I remember when I was in my teens the longing to own one of these workhorses of my own. Fast forward to my 20’s when I was finally in a position to purchase a Kitchen Aid for myself. Fast forward to my late 50’s. That same mixer has served me reliably thru 2 children and countless grandchildren. My oldest daughter asked if she could have my mixer so I decided she should have one of her own. I sent her the ice blue model and a cookie recipe to get her started. Here’s to many more years of generational baking to come. Tremendous value in a beautiful package!

I am not crazy about the lift arms. The bigger bowl doesnt fit on it until its lifted up but you have to lower it to put the attachments on and off. I like my previous mixer better where the top or head part goes back and the bowls secure to the bottom.

Had my old one for many years. This larger version is great for any recipe that is large. Made a few items so far and really like it. No flour storm and whips great for frosi\ting in smaller bowl. Haven't tried bread yet. Keep it on my counter - too heavy to lift from cabinet but it is used often so it is a non issue for me.

This is the real thing. Whoever runs the kitchen workshop needs real professional level tools. In our case it is my wife. She has owned prize-winning restaurants, but never wanted to spend the money for the same quality tools she had in her restaurant kitchens. Christmas was the breakthrough moment. While baking something she just couldn’t any longer mix the heavy batter by hand. At last we finally out a kitchen aid mixer at home. The down side is now my wife wants me to get down to the shop and make a proper work table for it. It’s now part of our family. Fair warning

This is my first KitchenAid Stand Mixer. I wanted white, but they did not have that option in this model. I got the stainless steel color instead. I like it a lot. The mixer is very easy to use and it looks very pretty on the countertop. There is nothing to complain about as it does the job and is attractive. It saved me time and elbow grease when baking during the holidays. I highly recommend this stand mixer. I did a lot of research prior to my purchase and I got bogged down in the details of all of the different brands and models and reviews. Don’t waste time creating spreadsheets of data and comparisons. Just get this one. The price is right and it is a life saver. You will not regret it. I highly recommend it.

I love the way this looks in my kitchen, it’s very classy and the color is beautiful ( I got the silver/gray ) Purchase the extra insurance 3 year warranty. It’s more powerful than my old kitchen aid mixer bought over 15 years ago. Will definitely enjoy a lot of baking this year for Christmas. Love my KitchenAid 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer. It has great power to get the job done. So far, I have made a pound cake, a cheeseball, and mashed potatoes twice. (Christmas & New Years Eve) This mixer made the process so easy. It is also surprisingly quiet, runs smooth, has plenty of speed selections, and it is easy to clean. However, it is heavy, so plan to leave it out on your countertop, but it is so nice looking you really won't want to hide it in a cabinet. Also, the bowl can be a challenge to snap into place, but you get used to it real fast. I am so glad I chose this model and I am very happy I bought it from Sam's Club at a great price!

Love my KitchenAid, my last was 10 years old before wearing out, purchased to replace and it did not disappoint, the extra accessories are a plus a plus as well, the only thing that could be better is if the splash guard for this size was more readily available or included with the package.
