I also use it for dry hands, cold sores, dry patches on my skin. It works for everything, has a minimal smell which I love, and I even have a couple small ones that I keep in my purse. As I grew up, I have found more and more ways to make use of it. It's the only thing that moisturizes my dry, chapped lips without me needing to reapply every few minutes. I usually apply a thin layer to my lips before putting on matte lipstick. It stays on better. I love putting it on extra dry spots, like my elbows, hands, and dry patches on my face. I use it to moisturize while I sleep and I wake up to my skin feeling super hydrated. I also like to use it on my ankles when I'm wearing uncomfortable heels. I have been using Vaseline for years on my skin as well as my neices and nephew as they grew up....it is very Gentle on your skin, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) You can use it to help prevent chap skin,lips, crack heels and more... I recently started using it to take off makeup by applying a little bit around my eyes to remove eye shadow liquid eyeliner... I use this on dry feet and hands, and even my neck during the fall and winter when it gets dry and cold. It is the most effective product I have used. To heal very dry feet, apply this product, then wrap your feet in saran wrap or plastic bags. Put on socks for an hour over the bags. When you remove the bags, the skin on the ankles and feet will be normal again for at least 24 hours. I use it instead of hand cream also because the effects last longer, and I even use it as eye cream sometimes.

Vaseline is something everyone should have! I use it for so many things. It's great to use a tiny bit on your face where you have any dry spots (like around your nose), to use on your lips, and on elbows and knees. This helps me frequently when I get razor burn from shaving my legs -- it soothes and moisturizes the skin, and takes away any irritation. I also use it for minor cuts and insect bites, which will heal much faster. My only warning is that it's very thick, so you have to let it sink in before you apply makeup, put tight clothing on, etc. But this is a staple, and I couldn't imagine what I'd do without it!!

Writing a review on a staple product is hard for me because I never dont have this in my@house but I dont love it either. I use it when I need some serious moisture or lubrication on something. It helps but its so sticky and thick that I dont use it often. Sometimes I will apply it to my hands over night and place a glove on to help with my severely cracked and dry hands and it will help too but it just is too sticky for me to say I love it.
