[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love vaseline! its been a staple for just about any and everything my entire life. one of the less common things i like to use it for is for diy manicures! just put some around your cuticle and any excess polish wont stick! just wipe it away after theyre dry! easy peasy! also, to protect your sinks, counters, or bathtub from hair dye, coat the contact areas in a nice layer of vaseline. problem solved! i received this product free for my review from influenster

Our teen has had problems with acne for over a year, and has started swimming on her school swim team. From the start of her swimming, her acne really flared up. We've exhausted almost every option the Dermatologist has tried and recommended. We started looking at natural remedies, but kept coming back to the fact that they treated the acne and didn't protect the skin. We then started thinking about what would protect her skin from the harsh chemicals in the pool. We thought to keep it simple and thought to try Vaseline; got permission from the coach (that it wouldn't violate some rule) and we're off to the races - literally. In the 2 weeks she's been using the Vaseline on her face before swimming, we've noticed a drastic reduction in the redness of her acne. I am obsessive w/ my lips, and I was way too lazy to run to the store so I used Vaseline instead. I put something on my lips before bed and habitually throughout the day and didn't think that would change w/ Vaseline but I was totally wrong. I used it before bed and the next morning there was a noticible different. My lips were super super soft and there was still a little bit of it still there. This Is such an important product to have in every household! Its such a multi use product. I use it on my lips over top of my lip balm before bed when Ive done a lip scrub, Ive used it on healing burns (after it has scabbed), I use it on top of a heavy cream on my feet at bed time to get rid of rough heels, I use it when one of my children has irritated patches of skin. It can do so many things! I even a smaller size to keep more accessible or for travel.
