I developed scaly red dry patches around my eye area including the lids. Everything I tried to clear it up caused it to worsen. (My beloved eye makeup and eye creams inflamed the area.). I finally saw a dermatologist who prescribed a potent cortisone cream which warned that it could cause glaucoma if it got into my eyes?! I was terrified. I had read online that Vaseline Original Healing Jelly was safe to use on the lids/eye area, so in desperation, I decided to give it a try BEFORE trying the scary prescription cream. I applied it all around my eye area at bedtime, including the lids. It felt very soothing - no burning sensation (unlike all the other products). The next morning, I was astounded to see the irritation was 1/3 improved! So I applied it again in the morning and again at bedtime. The following morning, even more improvement! Literally within 5 days, ALL irritation was GONE! Since my skin is extremely sensitive, I now use Vaseline Healing Jelly Original a few nights a week as a "preventive" measure. At the first sign of any redness or irritation from makeup/eye creams, I apply this product, and by morning, the problem is gone! Every so often, I apply it all over my face at bedtime. (And BTW, I even tried applying eye makeup overtop of it - no problem at all! I just gently wipe off any excess first). A friend who is a school nurse told me that she applies it to the kids' eczema patches, too, and it works great. WHO KNEW??? I now tell all my friends to use Vaseline Original Healing Jelly as an eye cream a few times a week at bedtime. It's a miracle worker!

I use it excessively on my lips and then use any jelly that has remained on my finger to coat my dry hands or elbows. It's especially great on cuticles to clean up a manicure, and I've even applied it with a q-tip around my nails before a DIY manicure to apply the polish more neatly. This is an essential and to me Vaseline is the ONLY lip balm or skin protectant you need!!

I love it for soothing my nose during a particularly vicious cold, and it's great for protecting sensitivity areas after shaving. I put it on dry skin to ease cracks. I love it! It always gets dry again 10-15 minutes after ( even with the vaseline lip therapy). I used this normal vaseline for it and it worked amazing. It kept my lips moisturized all night while I slept. In the morning I put it on once and it keeps it moisturized all day. It's not sticky feeling on my lips at all or heavy feeling. I've been using Vaseline almost all my life , on cuts and dry skin this is probably one of the best skin protectant against these cold winter days . Every household needs Vaseline ! Especially if you wear makeup I also use it on my toughest of mascara to help with washing my face .

I received a complimentary Vaseline in my Influenster voxbox and I was curious to what I could use it for . Looking up ideas there were tons of things you can use Vaseline for I was amazed ! I'm currently using it to tame my eyebrows when they are outta control! lol I love it !

It's great for small cuts and rashes. I use this whenever I get a papercut. Next day it's gone. I also use it when my daughter gets a diaper rash I put a little on and the an hour later the rash is gone. I was sent this product to try out for free from influenster.
