It has the perfect combination of plushness and firmness and I've been virtually pain-free since sleeping on it. It's a little heavy, so changing the sheets can be a bit of a project.

The mattress was delivered fairly quickly by a team of professionals who set it up, took the old mattress & foundation away. And I was enjoying a great night's sleep in no time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The delivery was fast and easy. The mattress was better than expected, especially in terms of the outer materials. We had tried to use a Saatva firm memory foam bed previously, but it started to get too soft after only a few months. The springs in this bed make it feel much sturdier. Time will tell, but I am guessing it will last much longer. Going back to a spring mattress, I was most worried about motion transfer, but it hasn't been too bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been dealing with lower back pain and bought a popular new brand mattress to try and help. After 6 months, still lower back pain. In our spare bedroom I had my older S&F Estate Mattress. I decided to test it and slept on this for 2 weeks to see if it would help. NO PAIN. As a result, I returned the new mattress and replaced with the Estate Firm Pillow Top. I'm about a month in and NO PAIN AT ALL. No hip pain, no lower back pain, I finally wake up without being sore. I will never purchase another brand. The quality just can't be matched.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a Stearns and Foster mattress in our guest bedroom that we've had FOREVER and it has not broken down at all. After experiencing several different brands of mattresses for our own bed we knew we had to go back to S & F. Maybe we're "old school" but the old fashioned support system is still good to this day so why deviate from it. Went with medium support and it's plenty firm enough - probably last the rest of our lives(we're mid 70's). We don't want to sink into our mattress, we want it to adequately support us and S & F does just that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new mattress has improved our sleep greatly. It is so supportive that we - my wife and myself have not had leg cramps at night since we started to sleep on this mattress. It has also helped to stop back pain upon waking in the morning.

We purchased this mattress in 2025. We tested the floor model and it seemed like a good fit. BUT within a few weeks of sleeping on it it became lumpy, and still is. We should have returned ii within the allowed time but we thought it needed a breaking in period. With much regret we're stuck with it. We will buy a new mattress soon to replace this one. We won't return to a Stearns and Foster brand.

Disappointed in workmanship. Had to return because defective. The next one is almost as bad. The pillow top doesn't seem to be even all the way around. Have visitors coming so could not return. Very disappointed and not sure how to solve the problem. Always led to think that Stearnes and Foster was the best.
