We have had trouble finding a nice gazebo to put on our deck. Where we live, we tend to have wind even when it is not a windy day. Last month, we had a wind storm with gusts up to 75 miles per hour. This gazebo is still standing. Not only is this gazebo very durable with weather, it is very beautiful to look at. We are very happy with our purchase. Putting the gazebo together could be a challenge for some. Basically you are building this yourself except everything is already cut and drilled to put together. Directions are very good and all the pieces had holes drilled correctly. It will take at least 3 people to install the roof. Expect to take more than one day to put this together. We have no complains with our purchase of this gazebo. I would recommend this for its beauty and durability.

Well crafted design and substantial construction. No missing parts. In fact they even included extra hardware as well as most driver bits required. Was time consuming since built this by myself with the exception of help to get completed roof panels in place but came out beautifully. Would have liked to have had dimensions for securing the roof panel pieces but taking your time to line up the pre drilled holes will get you square.

Bought this 2 month's ago. Looks well built and the instructions are decent. The ap with 3d helps alot. The only things that would help are better markings on hardware bags(not black). And the boards that are have holes that should down to be labeled as lower/upper.

We invested in the 14x12 Barrington Gazebo to replace our lightweight metal and fabric gazebo. The kit came in good shape and all parts and pieces were accounted for. Amazingly, they actually give you a few spare parts in all the hardware bags, just in case!! All hardware is powder coated black and fits well together. The first problem I had was realizing that there were wooden parts INSIDE the 4 large legs. 2 of these pieces of wood were jammed in there pretty good so it took some ingenuity to pull them out. I didn't want to smash the poles down and damage them, so a ratchet strap hook was dropped down to try and pull them out. Don't start assembly unless ALL parts are accounted for!! Assembly of the rafters seemed to be the most time consuming and tricky part of this project. Some boards were twisted, and the holes didn't always line up as expected, which required some force to get it all square. 3 people are highly recommended to lift the rafters and roof frame up easily. Inserting the bolts for the rafters (steps 35 & 36) proved to be the most challenging as the holes didn't always line up. It took some persuasion, and even removing screws from steps 22B & 30B were needed to allow the rafters to flex in order to line these holes up correctly enough. Once tightened, I reinstalled these screws. The plastic coating on all the metal parts took forever to get off, often ripping off in small pieces, extremely annoying. Overall, this whole kit did come together nicely in the end. It looks great, and I have no doubt it will hold up well in our Northeast winters. I am happy with my purchase and building experience.

Mind you, I’d been researching cost, style, and overall ease of assembly for a really long time. I found this one and we pulled the trigger! Perfect we think. We live were we get a lot of wind and snow and so far it’s held its own. So do all of our neighbors, friends and the delivery guys. Absolutely love it. It’s beautiful and looks like it will last a long time. Very highly recommend.

The Gazebo did take longer than stated, but that is to be expected with the amount of hardware that is needed to put this together. It was difficult to see the numbers on the boards with the darker stain, but by process of elimination, we were able to figure it out. The customer service has been fantastic and both agents I have spoken to about stain have been absolutely accommodating and wonderful. Thank you.

Follow the assembly instructions and you will be fine. We are really happy with the outcome. We live in a windy area and haven’t had any issues. Very sturdy

Finally got my gazebo delivered. It’s been here 2 weeks now. Installer called last week said he would be here Thursday. Thursday call said he was sick be here Friday. Today he calls said can’t find a helper. Now it will be next Tuesday. Guess he already had Monday booked. Never use Sam’s club installers. Paid 800 to install it. Wish I had never bought from them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a 16 x 12 gazebo; it was delivered in 6 well packed boxes; most holes were pre-drilled (accurately); hardware was first class and extra pieces were included for most items; everything was well marked; the instruction book was well designed and easy to follow; even came with an electrical panel; everything went together nicely and assembly was easy. I would recommend this item to anyone.

Take the time to label all parts and it is helpful to put all hardware in separate containers that are clearly marked. You will need minimum of 3 and better to have 4 people to place the roof sections. Have quick clamps ready. There are several sub assemblies that can be done ahead of time to expedite the process (14’ beam and top frame assemblies).
