Cleaning the pot is pretty easy and it is big enough for me to cook soups and spaghetti in. It is quite heavy, not too heavy but has a great high quality feel and weight to it. It is my new favorite...with its glass lid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a cook, I hate unitaskers. I like things that can serve many purposes in my kitchen. So far this is the most versatile pot in my kitchen. Its 3 ply base means that it browns rice perfectly for dishes like rice pilaf, or Spanish rice, but it can use as easily be used for lasagna or casserole! The lid is well designed and pretty tight, which really helps with fluffy rice when used on the stovetop. I find myself using this pan over my old favorites and I will be purchasing more Kitchen Aid pots and pans in the future!

And, I like the level bottom feature on some of the pots. The pots are wonderful, love the covers for the pots that have the stain 3 feature as part of them. It allows to drain pasta, veggies and not lose any food down the drain. The large pot came to a rolling boil quickly which is awesome. My previous pots don't do it as quickly. They are easy to clean and my kids like being able to clean them off and throw them into the dishwasher. The clear covers allow you to see where food is during the process. The different sizes are ones I don't already have, which make this a great addition to my current cookware.

I've found that these are really high-quality and it's easy to see based on how they maintain temperature points and their non-stick surfaces. Highly recommend for those looking to upgrade their kitchen set! Added bonus, these are super easy to clean and run in the dishwasher!

It has VERY nifty measurement markings on the inside so I don’t have to use a measuring cup or eyeball my liquids or rice. I have used this pot each time I have cooked since I got it, and it has not failed me yet. The stainless steel is beautiful, the handles and lid are very heavy and durable. The 8 at size is perfect for my soups, spaghetti, sauces, stewed chicken and potatoes. You can also put this pot in the oven for up to 350° If you need to. My mom has tried to steal this pot from me twice, I will be purchasing her one for the holidays this year! 5 stars
