Cleaning the pot is pretty easy and it is big enough for me to cook soups and spaghetti in. It is quite heavy, not too heavy but has a great high quality feel and weight to it. It is my new favorite...with its glass lid.

I love to make soups and usually I need a really big pot and have to use 2 medium pots to make one large soup. This made my life so much easier in the sense that I only needed one pot to make my soups! It was very sturdy and the stainless steel is such a classic elegant look. I love that it does not stick on the bottom whether I saute in water oil or simply boiling water in it for pasta. Its also very convenient that there are no stains after washing it ever. Will definitely purchase in the future by Kitchen aid and highly recommend it to anyone.

It is a brand I have used since I moved out on my own. It has always been dependable. This casserole dish looks beautiful on the stove. I don feel I need to transfer it to a serving dish during informal dinner parties. I am pleased with this purchase.

Reading some of the comments I noticed that many were reporting that the food was sticking to the pan. Like any other stainless steel pans, these need to be seasoned prior to their first use to prevent sticking. Simply put the pans in low heat drizzle some oil and wipe any excess off. Repeat 3-4 times. Also, make sure that the protein you’re trying to cook is not super cold. Let it rest for about 10 minutes outside of the fridge before cooking it. Overall this is a great first set to have, It has every piece that you would possibly need for a basic set of pans.

The stainless steel distributes the heat across the pan without hot spots. My favorite features are that the pans can go into the oven up to 500 degrees, lids up to 350 degrees and many of the pans have a pour spout making it easy to discard liquid.

I just made chili and home made soup in it and I didn’t realize how much I needed this pan until I got it. I’m so happy to not use two pots/pans to make things anymore because they were too small. This is a must if you love to cook!
