There are a some ways to improve their performance, one of which is to make sure the blades are properly cleaned after each shave. Turn your OneBlade on and rinse the blade and comb(s) with lukewarm water. If the attachments need to be cleaned more thoroughly turn the OneBlade off, take off its attachments and wash them under a tap. We'd also like to note that the lifetime of the blade of your Philips OneBlade depends on the volume and density of your hair as well. For hard or long hair, the blade can wear out quicker than for soft and/or short hair. However, it is indeed recommended to switch the blades every 4 months for optimal results if used regularly. Similar to manual blades, your blade will become blunt over time, and this may result in reduced shaving performance and an increased hair pulling sensation during shaving and trimming.
