The color is already starting tho change for the change indicator which is nice, this should make for a simple solution when it comes time to swap out the blades the seem to stay sharp for a good while

I received a Philips Norelco OneBlade Trimmer over a year and a half ago and have been a big fan since the first time I used it. I have used it several times a week since then, sometimes with an attachment to keep my beard a reasonable length, and other times without one to get close like a shave without actually shaving. Through this time I haven`t had any complaints. I just recently found out you can get replacement blades and decided to swap out my old blade for a fresh one and give it a try. From my very first trim with the new blade, I soon learned I had fixed a problem I didn`t even know I had. Like I mentioned, I previously had no complaints with the OneBlade, but a fresh blade made my grooming even smoother than I ever remembered. Since swapping out the blade I haven`t had a single hair tug or snag as I`m buzzing and zero irritation. Changing the blade was simple, push a button to pop out the old blade and snap the new one in place, and I love that the blade changes color when it`s time to replace them again.I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review but will definitely be purchasing my next replacement blade when it`s needed.

these blades are extremely expensive and break easily. the last replacement I bought was actually broken out of pack. haven't been able to use it in forever and have spent alot of money on this device. absolutely not worth it and philips, you owe me some money !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the OneBlade as a Christmas present a few years back, due to the advertisements I'd seen on the TV, and, needless to say, I was impressed by what I saw! After receiving the blade, and using it for several months, I came to the conclusion that, although it DOES work really well, with a new blade, once the blades begin to dull, it tended to catch on my existing facial hair, pulling it out rather than cutting it, which was rather painful. The battery lasts for QUITE a while; longer than I'd expected it to last, but when it gets low, it again, it starts <u>pulling</u> the longer hairs rather'n cutting them. All in all, though, I've had this blade for a few years now, and, unless I want a REALLY close shave (this blade leaves just a little bit of stubble), I use it EVERY time I shave! I would recommend it primarily to anyone who doesn't need a babyface every day, or doesn't have an existing beard. Those who DO have a beard can use it, but just be aware that it MAY pull the longer hairs out along your hairline (beardline?).

During my trial with these blades I was blown away by how they've improved. Now they have a color indicator for when the blade should be changed. As an owner of the One Blade I am an advocate for this product and I will never not own it. My Barber ruined my haircut and I was only able to save it because I owned this product. No updates on the negative side for me. Go forth and purchase!

I received this sample for free in exchange for an honest review. Overall, I like that it gives a pretty close shave but my only complaint is that it does cause a little bit of to my neck/throat area. It is not too bad and it goes away after an hour or so if you are looking for a quick/close shave then I would recommend this product.

Have been using the OneBlade for seven years and have generally been very pleased with the experience. For some reason, the quality of the blades from my last purchase is quite poor. Brand new, they immediately started pulling my beard hairs, and the entire shave was painful. Cuts are not clean either, having to go over multiple times to get close. Having to re-think choice of razors if this is the new norm.

I think my husband and I have bought every make and model on the market until I came across this..i figured what the heck hes tried everything else...he LOVES it!!! He loves the close shave, no bumps, doesn't pull..I need to get one for myself. Philips please make a ladies color, dont change the design or anything just add different colors. The only thing he has complained about is the blade is fragile
