Customer reviews for Philips 65" Class 4K UHD Android Smart LED TV - 65PFL5766/F7 forVery nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were in the market for a new tv and couldn't decide on one. This one was affordable, the picture is nice and clear, the sound is great and the google assistant is a very nice addition. We are an android household and have speakers everywhere but being able to control the tv with them is something wonderful. As many before us, we are constantly misplacing our remote but having to download an extra app just to get around that issue was not for us. Highly pleased with this new addition and can't wait to keep playing around with all the new features we had no idea existed.
Sluggish OS and mediocre voice control
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Philips positions Google Assistant as the leading reason to buy this TV. Except the actual voice commands are sooo slow. Often it doesn't pick up my voice. When it does, I have to watch it transcribe my voice over 10 seconds. Assuming it DOES hear me properly, it then is severely limited with what it can do with your prompt. Here's the rub: if you have a google home device already in your house, this TV adds zero value. Your Google Home device is WAY better at picking up your voice and can do way more things. The worst part: this TV CAN'T sync with or interact with any of your other Home devices. So you can't tell Google to turn on your TV or to play that show on Netflix - you would need to go pick up the remote and press the record button and tell the TV that information. If I have to tell the TV to access netflix USING the remote, why the heck wouldn't I just click the Netflix button on the remote? Ah, but the extremely sluggish UI on this TV actually make you hesitate as to which experience you think is better. Honestly it's a jack of all trades, bad at most of them TV. Just buy a regular smart TV, plug in a chromecast, and your TV will be instantly better than this one. The picture is decent once you're actually watching something and I love how thin the TV is. That's enough to get 2 stars instead of 1.
Nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a bigger television to pit in my living room. This television is 43" and was the perfect size. I really needed a smart TV because I watch tv online only. This television was easy to set up and connect to the wi-fi. I was watching movies in no time at all. The instructions were easy for this grandpa to understand. I can even understand how to use the remote...lol. I am happy with this television.
Amazing picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture on this TV is amazing, it's so clear and not pixilated. I gave this to my 7 year old son and it's very easy for him to use. He only watches Netflix and YouTube and I love that the remote has these 2 station on their own button, it makes is easier for him to find his favorite shows. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the IR receiver is placed too low or maybe it's just the tv legs are too short. You have to hold the remote above your head to turn the channels or adjust the volume. Unless you're directly in front of the tv and pointing the remote directly at the IR the remote won't do anything. I'm hoping that once the tv gets mounted that it'll fix this issue but overall still a great tv
Philips 43" Class 4K Ultra HD Android Smart LED TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Philips - 43" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160p) Android Smart LED TV with Google Assistant is great quality, It was easy to set up out of the box and start using. This was the perfect size for my spare room. It has very good sound clarity and the picture brightness with 4K. I like the feature of Google Assistant Search for movies, content and TVshows. It is also really convenient to be able to control all my compatible smart home devices. I would definitely recommend.
Love this TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV almost 2 months ago, and so far I love it. It was a great buy hundreds of dollars cheaper than other 4k 65inch tv's, beautiful pictures, speakers sound good, nice and loud. 3 hdmi connections. I highly recommend this TV
Great picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is great! Sound quality is good. The google assist is an awesome feature I never knew I needed. Easy to search for shows and movies! No complicated set up! It was easy to hook up to the satellite remote I already had. The remote that came with the tv is picky when pointing it. It has to be pointed directly at the sensor. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade to a higher tech tv.
Great Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv really has it all when it comes to having options for a smart tv so many apps to choose from because you log into your Google account and have the play store right at your fingertips and this remote talk about how cool it is..It has voice activation you tell it to open Netflix and there it is sure you could just do it yourself but my kids love this feature it comes in handy and the picture quality is amazing really high quality and it's such a sleek and nice thin tv you can't go wrong with this smart tv if your looking for one with so many options available this tv is the perfect one. I would give this TV 10 ⭐if they had a rating that high best tv I've owned so far.
Awesome Features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with the Phillips Smart TV with Google Assistant! We have had our fair share of experience with “smart tv's” in the past and this was by far the easiest to set up and navigate! We were able to eliminate our firestick entirely since apps can be downloaded. Picture quality is crystal clear and so much better than what we had. As you can tell in the pictures attached we had it wall mounted and it was very easy to install and lightweight that one person can do it alone. Highly recommend this tv!
Super clear Ultra HD TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Philips 50” 4K Ultra HD Android Smart LED TV with Google Assistant for a few weeks now, and I love it! What an amazing device. Since I have only had normal HD televisions in my life, this has blown me away. It really upgraded my mancave! The first thing I noticed was how large the TV was. The biggest TV in my entire house is 32 inches! This was a major improvement. The unboxing was a smooth experience. There was only one small challenge-putting the feet on the TV. I needed to line up the screw with the bottom of the tv. I was following the directions where you put the tv on a table face down, but because of this the screw kept falling off the end of the screw driver. The weight of the device itself was incredibly light. I would even go as far as to say it was just a little bit heavier than the 32 inch that I already had! The sign in process was easier than I expected, but still having to use the remote to type in all of my email / passwords was a little bit of a headache. I would have loved to use the voice control on the remote which would have saved a boat load of time. I have never bought Netflix before, but the remote had a netflix button on it so obviously had to make the purchase at least for a month! The 4k is an amazing view! The HDR is amazing and delivers a crisp and clear. One complaint about the applications that are already installed would be that it has HBO, Netflix, and so many more options except Amazon Prime. I'm not sure if there was a restriction on putting the Amazon Prime TV app on the tv, or if it needs to be downloaded separately, but it would be a very nice addition (I'm still able to use it but I need to stream it through the xbox). Since, it's a smart TV it also has the cool feature of being able to control lights, but I haven't tested that feature out yet. The remote has a good feel to it, but I did finding myself wanting more of a rounded edge. I do wish it was labelled a little bit better (I still don't know what 40% of the buttons do), but it doesn't make that big of a difference in the viewing experience. I can't wait to have some friends over for movie night. Overall, this is an awesome product, and I will gladly look into more Philips brand products from this point going forward. I would highly recommend it.
