[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and used spectrum internet to get multiple channels. The TV did not have a TV guide, the shows did not run flawlessly, it was like watching multiple photos not connected. Was told I needed Roku device. I thought this was. A Smart TV? Do not recommend this TV.

Outstanding

TV arrived well packaged. Wall mounting instructions were supplied although I had and existing wall mount which I adapted easily. The TV was actually lighter than the smaller one it replaced! Setting it up with my wifi network was easy, although there were no instructions for Magic Remote which took some getting used to. In fact I had to go to LG website to get a user manual for the set and remote operation as I had a bit of difficulty with some operations. A Quick Setup Guide would have been easier. Eventually managed to replace the Apple TV remote but I'm still having to use the Manhattan set top box remote, the only standard options were Sky, Virgin and Roka boxes. It might be buried in there somewhere in there. Quality of picture and sound is outstanding.

Beautiful and Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV several weeks ago. It is lightweight and easy to set up. The picture is beautiful. The remote works like a computer mouse and fun to use! It allows users to scroll and all point and click. Love it!

After a month or so I discovered that LG no longer allows SiriusXM Radio - bummer. Then when I call for tech. service, I get someone from a foreign country that I can hardly understand. The user manual has very little information as to how to operate the remote and get the TV to do what you want it to do.. I guess you just think that everyone is a techie.

Maravilloso producto

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hace un mes y poco más que tengo la tv LG. Hacia mucho quería comprar esta marca y no me arrepiento. El control inteligente me encanta al igual que los colores. El precio me pareció muy adecuado. En fin, estoy muy contento con mi tv LG

Great picture but firmware needs improvement

The mouse curse on the magic remote is a great and so is the picture. The issue we have is the firmware and sometimes it's slowness to respond to commands. Sometimes it's fast sometimes it can take up to 20 seconds to go into the app center. Don't know if our latest firmware actually needs another update but we recommend the tv overall as a B+.

New TV to replace an older Vision TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this TV for our Christmas present to ourselves. While it was fairly easy to assemble and set up, I did find that the TV was fairly complicated to use, with a lot of functions that I still do not use or understand. I also found that it didn't have the accessory connections that I needed for our VHS tape playor or DVD player, so cannot use them now at all. I also cannot set up our sound system that we had from our previous TV since there is no sound output and the LG sound system costs more than the TV did, so that's out of our range. We are still working on understanding how to use the TV and it's many function and station apps. With all of the setups and user guide information on the TV and not a booklet, and us being an older generation, we are struggling to use many of the functions, and even setups. We still have to use 2 remotes, since we have Dish Satellite system, which will shut down after a couple of hours of inactivity, and it will not start up without using the remote for Dish. It's also harder to change channels, look at the guide, etc., for Dish using the LG remote. So that being said, it's not all that we hoped that it would be. The picture quality and overall TV system is quite nice compared to our older TV, but not having our sound bar for a quality sound, not having hookups for our DVD and VHS systems, it is not as useful as our older TV. We still really like the TV itself and the quality though. The price was decent as well. Only time will tell if we will purchase another LG after this one.

Outstanding Visual and Auditory Experience

The LG 50UR8000AUA TV is a remarkable product that offers an extraordinary viewing experience. It is marked by spectacular color rendering which makes images come alive on screen. The colors are vibrant, crisp, and extremely accurate, creating a true-to-life visual spectacle that mesmerizes and engages the viewer. Coupled with this is an excellent contrast ratio that ensures deep blacks and brilliant whites, adding depth and dimension to the imagery. Whether you're viewing high-action sequences or serene landscapes, the picture quality is nothing short of stunning. The sound quality of the TV is equally impressive, providing a rich, immersive auditory experience that complements the visual appeal perfectly. Dialogues are clear, background scores are harmonious, and every sound effect is distinctive, which together, make for an incredibly realistic audio-visual experience. Furthermore, the LG 50UR8000AUA is equipped with an intuitive WebOS interface that is not only easy to navigate but also enhances the overall user experience by providing seamless access to a range of apps and features. As an added luxury, the TV also offers free LG Channels, which expands the viewer's entertainment choices without any additional cost. All in all, the LG 50UR8000AUA is an exceptional TV that delivers a top-tier performance across all key parameters.

Really nice LARGE tv!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big Mama! Definitely fills our wall nicely in our new home! We are very happy with our purchase so far, 1 week in. We still have to learn a lot more with all of the great features, but it has plenty of apps and HDMI availability and we have been able to enjoy it already. Love that we only need 1 remote to do all of the things, as opposed to our previous tv, we had over 3 to juggle around with.

High Expectations, a Few Disappointments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought and installed this 65 inch TV about a month ago. The picture quality lives up to what I expected from some reviews that I read. However, I found that the "Magic" remote a disappoint. The cursor bounces around and requires a steady hand and a delicate "push" on the button to make the selection that I want. It also freezes quite often; that means a turn off and restart the TV. The voice system is pretty annoying. It randomly presents some "helpful" suggestions for my input. Those are confusing and are difficult to remove.
