Be cautious

I brought this printer on August 10, 2024 for the sale price of 59.99. It worked great intially, but then the printing began to become spotty. I knew the introductory cartridges were not meant to last long, and the indicator on the printer noted the ink was low. When i installed new ink, the printer would print absolutely nothing. The ink levels were high, so I performed the maintenance of the nozzle check, head cleaning, alignment, etc. and nothing worked. I then did some reasearch online and learned that the nozzles were probably clogged. I purchased nozzle cleaner and used it. I saw a lot of ink come out of the nozzles, but when I tired to print again, the paper was clear. This was all out of the return period. I should have purchased the protection plan. I am not sure if my experience is typical, but I felt I had to write this review. If you do buy this printer, please buy the protection plan.

Don't waste your money!

Use allot of ink quickly and unless you are ONLY going to buy Epson brand ink at high over inflated prices do not buy this printer..my reasonably priced third party ink cartridges worked fine for only a few months until they did a firmware update that ironically stops your printer from reading the after market ink cartridge and stops you from being able to print. It's sad companies are resorting to these " use mine or else" tactics. Bad business and negative impact on their brand name. Glad my coffee maker can't tell what coffee i decide to use!! Geeze...

Pick a different printer - don't just buy on price

I am very sorry I purchased this printer. It was hard to set up to WI-FI. The ink levels you get with the machine are so minimal I only printed 14 copies of black ink only and it quit because black ink level showed low. I ordered a 3rd party ink cartridge - will not work with this machine. Epson has it so you have to use their cartridges. And they are expensive. So I ordered one black cartridge and installed it. Now, the printer says the colors are low. I have not printed one color sheet and ink is low. Also, it is very difficult to read all the information on the main screen as it is very small. I needed a flashlight to operate.

not reccomended.

the printer was always giving me issues, it would say there was a jam and there was no jam, it used ink faster than any other printer I have ever had. the control panel was not easy to understand and this printer was not a plug and go and was a 'high maintance' machine. I ended up just throwing it way the hassles were too much

Don't Purhase

Bought this when our printer of many years had a fatal error. We know that the ink in the printers when they ship is not a very large volume of ink. We printed 27 pages before it required refills to be purchased. No, they weren't photographs, they were word documents and a couple of recipes.

Bot a single page printed yet

We're on day 2 of tryung to set up this piece of garbage. Ive list count of the number of times we have tried to download the "firmware update" that is apparently required for a brand new product. We ha e tried with the phone and the computer. So far it has spit out an alignment test page and a page confirming it was set up, but it seems that was a joke because we still can't use it. Our devices cant find it. Somehiw the app manages to find our neighbors HP printer, but not this one. We're stuck with a display that continues to say its upsating and not to turn the power off, so its either going back for a refund tomorrow or the fire pit. Not sure if the $100 refund or watching it burn will be more satisying at this point.
