It provides adequate protection from harmful UV rays, can be easily applied without risking contamination (spray on packaging), and is absorbed by the body quickly so you can get back to your activities in the sun ASAP. It has a pleasant scent, and can be used by any individual for either daily activities in the sun, swimming, gardening, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great sunscreen. My skin is very sensitive, and finding the perfect sunscreen has been a challenge for a long time. It’s suitable for my sensitive skin. The smell is quite pleasant. The texture is very light and non-greasy. The spray dries off instantly. You can even use it on your face. I have experienced that if you follow Neutrogena’s directions precisely regarding the re-application time, you will not get sunburned.

The scent of this spray is actually very nice. Used this on legs from shorts down and occasionally my arms/shoulders when outside working in yard. Used sparingly and rubbed it into skin. It absorbs quickly, has a great smell, good protection. This is a great and effective sunscreen.

I'm a redhead with pale skin and I burn easily. I recently went out on a boat in 90-degree heat. I put this on and I did not have a burn on my body. Lasted a few hours without putting on more even after going in and out of the water! Great product and highly recomended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Neutrogena Beach defense body sunscreen has a wonderful smell, fragrance. It was also more moisturizing than I thought it would be. One of the toughest parts of wearing sunscreen everyday while being in the sun at the beach as afterwards... The shower! Normally sunscreen stick to the skin and leave behind a residue I was surprisingly amazed at the fact that the Neutrogena Beach defense body sunscreen spray SPF 50 came off much easier are in the shower than other brands. I did have to reapply every 20 to 25 minutes to keep from burning so I would definitely recommend a reapply often. I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Everything I've written as my personal opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The body defense worked great for myself and my 7 year old. We both have fair skin and burn easily. This worked great for everyday use as well especially since I don’t wear a lot of makeup or none. For the beach it worked well and would be great if you don’t need a higher spf . We usually use 70 on up because of our skin but this was wonderful. Easy to apply no irritation and didn’t smell bad. I repurchases another to send to school for my daughter.

This sprayed on clear and did the job it’s supposed to! I do like the scent and I think that’s probably my favorite part about this. The sun protection was like any other regular spray sunscreen if you reapply every two hours. It had a nice and even spray. The ingredients also didn’t irritate my skin like some do.
