[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this sunscreen! Neutrogena Beach Defense body sunscreen spray with SPF 50 protection is outstanding. It provides adequate protection from harmful UV rays, can be easily applied without risking contamination (spray on packaging), and is absorbed by the body quickly so you can get back to your activities in the sun ASAP. It has a pleasant scent, and can be used by any individual for either daily activities in the sun, swimming, gardening, etc.

The scent of this spray is actually very nice. Used this on legs from shorts down and occasionally my arms/shoulders when outside working in yard. Used sparingly and rubbed it into skin. It absorbs quickly, has a great smell, good protection. This is a great and effective sunscreen.

Smell was great and it was easy to use. However my daughter that seldom burns easily used this and got a severe sunburn. Possibly coincidentally and she had some sort of fail while using? (It washed off easily?) But we are too scared to try a second rime!

It’s suitable for my sensitive skin. The smell is quite pleasant. The texture is very light and non-greasy. The spray dries off instantly. You can even use it on your face. I have experienced that if you follow Neutrogena’s directions precisely regarding the re-application time, you will not get sunburned.

I bought this sunscreen two weeks for a beach trip. I sprayed liberally on my arms and legs before going outside and then reapplied after 80 minutes. I was in the sun for 2 hours and was in shade the rest of the time. My legs and arms were covered in red splotches within 30 minutes. It has been five days and the splotches have not gone down where are other places that I applied a different Neutrogena sunscreen lotion and got burned have already healed. I have pictures and a diagnosis of chemical burn from my doctor.

This sprayed on clear and did the job it’s supposed to! I do like the scent and I think that’s probably my favorite part about this. The sun protection was like any other regular spray sunscreen if you reapply every two hours. It had a nice and even spray. The ingredients also didn’t irritate my skin like some do.

My skin feels protected and comfortable even in intense sun. I love it personally finished a bottle and brought another one

The Neutrogena brand of SPF has always been the best for me and my family's needs when going to the beach! I only use Beach Defense at the beach and I have never ever come home with a sun burn, used this for our recent vacation last month and my whole family was protected from the suns rays.
