[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a new Beautyrest hybrid mattress that was just not working for us. We slept on it over a month and knew it wasn't for us. When we returned to the mattress store the new line of Stearns and Foster had just arrived and we chose the new pillow top Lux line. We knew the first night it was the right choice. We are very happy with our new Stearns & Foster.

This is a very comfortable mattress. Unfortunately the off gassing of the materials gave me terrible respiratory distress. I think the latex in the cushioning caused me to have an allergic reaction. My old Stearns & Foster (used almost 20 years) never had any such pungent odor. I think the new materials used in fabrication of the products contain more synthetic additives that can cause an allergic reaction in sensitive people who are sensitive to their odors - like me. This one is very comfortable but I had to return it.

For that, I am incredibly grateful! I honestly wasn't expecting much from the mattress. As someone who suffers from an autoimmune disease, I've grown accustomed to aches and pains. For background, I added a 3" memory foam topper to my old bed just to sleep comfortably. My family likes to travel, and I actually take memory foam with me to try to make sleeping on a different mattress tolerable. I expected this new mattress to be a similar experience. I planned to try it for a few nights so that I could provide my (expected to be negative) point of view and then compare/contrast with my husband's opinion while I went back to my 3" memory foam. Now here I am, weeks later... No memory foam in sight! And I haven't even asked my husband's opinion. For the record, he hasn't complained, which basically means he likes it. I have no idea how the mattress does it, but I've been sleeping really, really well - no tossing and turning or waking up periodically throughout the night. I fall asleep quickly and wake up in the same position hours later. I had no idea how not-well-rested I was feeling until now. It's been amazing. Only time will tell if the experience continues, but I am feeling extremely optimistic. This isn't the outcome I expected, but I am so happy that the mattress has completely defied my expectations! One final note that I must throw in, even though it's completely irrelevant: the mattress is gorgeous! The deep blue with pattern... I'm sad that it has to be covered up; it fits the Lux Estate name perfectly.

We got the queen-size Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop mattress and we couldn't be happier. We were previously sleeping on a queen size sleeper sofa mattress, and if anyone knows anything about those mattresses, they are very thin and you can feel the bars from the sofa bed frame all night. My partner of 20 years is disabled, and he lays down most of the day, therefore, we just keep the sofa sleeper bed out all day every day and never fold it back into the sofa. When I was offered this free sample, I was more than delighted! We are BOTH sufferers of degenerative arthritis, and he has had multiple work injuries which eventually disabled him. Our previous mattress only made matters worse for both of us. He has insomnia and was up and down all night long with aches and pains. Now I am pleased to say that we are finally getting a good night's sleep! I haven't seen him sleep this good for so long! As for me, I am sleeping way better also, and for longer amounts of time than I previously was. I seriously do not want to get out of this bed! Our aches and pains are getting better by the day, not totally gone of course, but more tolerable. The cooling feature of this mattress is the BOMB as I am going through hot flashes! And we cannot even feel each other get out of bed anymore because of the motion sense feature, so less wakening. I cannot thank both companies enough, and I would HIGHLY recommend a Stearns and Foster mattress for a great night's sleep! We will never go with any other brand from here on out!

This is our second Stearns and Foster mattress and this time we chose the Lux Estate firm pillowtop. As I'm recovering from a broken back, the promised support from this mattress was quite important. But after I ordered it, I worried it might be too firm. Well, I shouldn't have. The White Glove delivery was great. Right on time, quick and efficient. I couldn't wait to try it. Wow! Turned out this new mattress offers far more than simply support. Oh my yes. It's true comfort. Bottom line: we couldn't be happier with our purchase. Oh, and 'happy to report we're sleepin' like babies.

We are finally able to get the best sleep we've had in years. We look forward to going to bed and "melting" into our new S&F mattress.

I recently purchased my queen size mattress in early December 2022. It was delivered a week later and I found my first night and every night since then sleep sound and extremely comfortable! I highly recommend this brand of mattress. My first one 20 years ago was a Stearns & Foster and I won't switch to another brand. Thank you!

have owned a few S&F but this one hasn't lasted very long as far as sagging in the middle. I have to get a new mattress quickly as my back is hurting. If I sleep at a nice Hotel, I feel great and have no back pain. Sorry S&F, I paid allot or this mattress and expected it to last longer. the tag states Dina Pammill was the Master Craftsman made in Indiana and also has Eileen Leigh name on it along with the number 5691. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Stearns & Foster for providing me with the Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop Mattress for free. I have been sleeping on this mattress for about 3 weeks now and am enjoying it. The pillowtop is incredibly plush and you just melt into it. I am a stomach sleeper and have trouble finding mattresses that are comfortable for me. This one has the softness of the pillowtop, but still has support, which is working out well for me. I have not been having as much back pain when I wake up. One concern I have is that despite having a firmness below the pillowtop for comfort while sleeping, the sides of the mattress do not seem to have as much side support as other mattresses I've had. I do not know if this will effect it long term, but is one thing I will be keeping an eye out fur issues as I have this mattress long term.

My husband wakes up feeling refreshed and not in pain. And the pillow top has this cooling effect that keeps me cool during the night. We would definitely purchase another mattress.
