This is organic extra-virgin olive oil, first cold pressed. It gives a 'harvest date' on the back but not a 'pressed' date, which I have heard is good to have for whatever reason. Another interesting thing to note from the stamp on the back is the country of origin lists four different countries, (Italy, Spain, Greece and Tunisia) all in one single bottle! Wish it's source was more concentrated, from one localized area I mean, but perhaps this accounts for some of the diluting of the flavor. This evoo gets the job done but is not super robust in the flavor profile compared to another brand I usually use. Good for a mild balance, not over powering at all. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase again if on sale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I like to cook and use olive oil quite a bit. I tried the Carapelli organic olive oil when I cooked salmon the other night. The flavor of the olive oil really came through on taste. It had a much fresher nutter, herb- like taste that really took my dish to a whole new level. I also like that it's organic. Fantastic Olive Oil!

The flavor is on the stronger side, but it’s excellent in salad dressings and as a dipping oil with some herbs. The bottle is beautiful and has a really easy to use pour spout.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This olive oil is really delicious. I found it to have a light but earthy flavor. I used it to make pizza crust, pizza sauce, tomato based pasta sauce and as a dipping oil. It would be perfect for salad as well. I really love the bottle. The swirl of the glass seems to aerate the oil possibly adding to the light quality of the taste and texture. The silicone pour spout drizzles the perfect amount - not a heavy pour but not a thread thin drizzle either. I'm very impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Carapelli Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a great taste. It works well by itself for dipping, in vinaigrette or mixed in pesto. It comes in a dark glass bottle which prevents sunlight from ruining the oil. It’s a little pricey but you might find it worth the extra price for special meals.

If you’re picky with too strong of a taste then I would say pick something different but if you’re good with eating healthy and don’t mind the taste then by all means buy it! 4/5 stars because it was good 😊

I’m impressed that oil goes in a reliable packaging that protects against damage. The bottle and label look elegant and classy. I like that bottle has ribs, they make it non-slip and allow you to hold the bottle securely in your hand. The silicone sprout helps to pour oil carefully and accurately. I don’t use extra virgin oils for frying. I use this oil as a salad dressing and for dough making and it works just perfect. The oil has gentle, not overpowering olive aroma and smooth fresh taste. I like that it’s organic! I’ll definitely repurchase this oil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The glass container is very thick and heavy duty. The lid is not quite twist and pull but it does have a good seal to it. Would display this in its own container for sure. The oil is a nice viscosity and is not overwhelming at all. The pour spout is nice and ample size for a quick pour. Have no complaints with this product.

It contains a spout on the inside which allows you to pour exactly the right amount of oil. I have been cooking every one of my meals with it and it adds so much flavor. I can't wait to purchase more.
