First, and most importantly, it is USDA certified organic and Non GMO verified. We try to use only organic products when possible. Like with any product I like to do some research before using it. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Carapelli comes exclusively from organic farming. It comes in a dark glass bottle that protects the oil from UV radiation with an anti-drip spout and is designed with a textured bottle to make it non-slip. I used it to make some chicken breasts and the flavor is optimal. I will definitely be purchasing when I finish my complimentary bottle. Thank you Influenster and Carapelli for this opportunity.

It shows the regions in which this Oil was produced and the harvest date on the bottle. Always a great sign. Was delicious while using in my salad and for light sauteing. Would highly recommend.

I have tasted fresh, made olive oil from Sicily and I can honestly say this is right up there with it. It is so aromatic and fragrant and you can literally drink it right out of the bottle. The olive oil bottle is nice size and come in a dark bottle to keep it fresh for a long time. The dispenser is easy to dispense the oil without making a mess. The taste of the olive oil i believeis bit strong and can be perfect for salads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying Carapelli oil. Carapelli's Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the best quality I've ever used before. The packaging I recieved it in was very well in protecting the heavy glass bottle, which is nice by the way. When I used the oil for cooking I noticed a thicker than usual consistency. It helped cook the eggs very nicely without any issues. The oil did have a scent when heating up before I cooked with it but that's normal and it's nothing unusual. We use different oils in our home and olive oil is a must with some health issues. This one is one I'll probably start purchasing from now on.

Wow…I have used extra virgin olive oil for many, many years, and this is the best I have ever had! I had to try it plain and expected the same results that I have had with other oils..a very strong oil flavor with no olive about it. However, that was not the case, it was a very nice light flavor! Even while I was sautéing some green beans with some oil, the smell was pleasant and light compared to other oils I have used. I was even worried I applied too much oil and the green beans were going to be overtaken with oil. However, by the time the beans were done, the oil was very light and perfect. Without telling my son I used a different oil, I had him taste them and tell me his thoughts. He said they did not taste like oil but a nice and light delicious taste! I will definitely be looking for this in the store when I run out!
