Stanley wet/dry vac

It has good suction. The wheels move smoothly. It's not too loud. Light weight and just the right size.

Stanely 6 Gallon Wet/Dry 5.0

Product does an excellent job for an everyday Joe. It comes with cone filter and a filter bag for your needs. Attachements have sections on the vacuum to set them on and not fall off.

Good vac for the price.

this replaces an old shop vac that quit. It is a nice vac, works as expected. The hose is stiff and I am curious, this says 6.0 hp, the old one was 3.0 hp but the old one had a bit more suction. It is lighter in weight and rolls easily and comes with all the tools.

Nice, however,.....

Smart looking unit with good design and the Stanley name, however, the size of this hose is the same as a standard home vacuum. It does not have a larger hose like most standard shop vacs, so the line easily gets clogged with small items that would never impede the flow of a standard shop vac. Good looking but maybe I'll save this one for small jobs inside the house.... disappointing!

Not Enough Suction

Compact wet dry vac has very little suction. Would not remove water from a leak on carpet after going over and over. Very narrow hose and flimsy. Returned to store and bought a larger model that had the water out in no time.

Dinky shop vac

It was weaker than my vacuum hose at home. The old shop vacs at my house are stronger than my home vacuum, so I thought this Stanley shop vac would be stronger, as well. Other than the stainless steel container, the rest of it seemed like cheap plastic, and most importantly, the suction was weak like it was a child's toy.

Bottom Will Rust

I have owned this vacuum for less than a year and probably only used it 20 times for that duration and a hole the size of a bic pen cap has rusted through the bottom. There’s pitting all around the hole indicating an eventual complete rust through is likely.

Used only once!

Bought this shop vac and used it once, on the 2nd time it wouldn’t start! Very disappointed and unfortunately I didn’t purchase the protection plan. I have no idea what happened!

The hose is too small. Useless in a shop.

This is not really a “shop vacuum”. The hose is too small for cleaning up in a shop. The hose is the same size as my house vacuum. The pictures are deceiving because the input port on the vacuum is a large diameter input. The hose is barely half the diameter of the input port on the vacuum. This should not be called a shop vacuum.
