For example, if it was really hot or cold outdoors when it was shipped, the product may appear much thinner than normal, and it may not return to a normal consistency even at room temperature. Be sure to store hair care products at room temperature. Also, unusual texture or consistency may be caused by the product being old. We've learned that hair can be dry if it's not conditioned enough and so we recommend that you try using a richer conditioner.
