So, we had been doing some research on different rope lights finding it hard to get what we wanted. We were looking for something that would allow us to bend and shape the lights the way we wanted. Then we found these. It is truly amazing how you Can pretty much create your dream. Love the light.

I ordered 2-5 meter strips and 1-10 meter strip for my patio. The variety of pre-programmed patterns is very impressive! However, I wanted to have a slow cycling of colors for later in the evening when the party is winding down. I found out that the 10 meter strip's controller is slightly different than the 5 meters'. It starts later and cycles faster so it doesn't stay in synchronization with the 2 shorter strings. I've asked to return the 10 meter strip and replace with 2 more 5 meter and this should take care of it!

I use Govee lights because I can't stand using the overhead lights all winter. They're too much, especially if I'm overstimulated from a long day or just waking up in the morning before the sun is up. I got the rope light for my bathroom and it provides the perfect amount of light. It wraps my mirror and then sprouts out to create a fun shape closer to my shower (I have some regrets not buying the longer size for a better shape, but it's fine for the space). Every time I have a friend over they end up inspired to order a Govee product for their house after seeing it. The best thing about this light over the other Govee products I own is it will let you control the speed. Some of the modes are the perfect color pattern (love you Jazz-A), but full speed would be way too much at eye level in my bathroom.

I have two of these 32 feet lights and I love them so much! They add such a nice flare to the front of my house. I had one for a long time and just added my second one to line the stairs. I could use them anywhere and the lights are so brighter! The flexibility is a nice feature so it can line up perfectly.

I am very pleased with this product! I wanted something to substitute instead of the ceiling light fixtures. I like LED light strips, but the individual bulbs are extremely bright. This product with the diffusion over it to soften the light, it was perfect for my classroom ceiling. I used the sticky clips that came with the product, and trailed it along my drop ceiling frame. I now have very pleasing lighting, and I can adjust its color and pattern in the app and it's the best cozy investment I've made for my teaching!

So I do not use these how they are expected to be (attached to the back of the TV), I use these for a variety of things. I also love the DYI programming feature as the out of the box styles are okay to bad. But I programmed several cool flowing rainbow ones or even some good Halloween flows. Namely: * I use them to decorate and light up my office/gaming area. It really helps with my ADD to have something pretty to stare at while the wheels in my brain grind on a work task. Especially the flowing rainbow colors I find calming and hypnotizing. * I use them to light up my backyard during bonfires. Helps add some great colors to my backyard, especially with a fence or a tree to bounce the colors off of. * I definitely dont think Govee expected this, but I also use them for camping. I tent camp at RV sites at state parks, so I still have access to electricity. And then I'll use them to light up my shelters or the campsite. Mix a few glasses of wine, a good bonfire, and these lights can be a super relaxing evening. For the price tag of between 40-60(depending on sales), these items are amazing. I think they are a great value for that price. They brighten up anywhere I use/bring them. The colors are vibrant, and the DYI functions are cool (if a bit obtuse to figure out). I do wish the DYI had a bit more functionality with dimming or brightness levels, along with syncing multiple of these ropes to transfer the colors from one to another. BUT, I highly recommend them. I'm not exactly gently on alot of my gear, but so far everything has held up really well. Govee, I'm really hoping you'll make a longer version and one more designed for outdoors (rain proofing the power controls, having a 180% arch design rather then the current 90% design, and add attachment points for hanging or adjusting hanging on tree's/fences/walls ect ect).
