Was told this was a great mattress and maybe it is for a single person who is 90 lbs. My spouse and I sleep close to each other and we sink. It is very uncomfortable to wake up in the middle of the night and feel like we are in a hole. We have more than one home so by the time we figured out how uncomfortable I was past the time to exchange. After 15 months we can't take it. Currently buying a new mattress and buying a new bed frame so I can move our bed to the guest room. Waste of money for sure.

First, I am one to never change something I like and am comfortable with. I've had my current mattress now for 7 years and I love it and it's the best. Or so I thought before I tried the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop mattress. This mattress is everything I could want. Let's start with its appearance. I got the Queen mattress and the color is Dark blue with 3 gray fleur de lis on it. Almost didn't want to put sheets over it with how regal it looks. It's a thick/deep mattress at about 16 inches with handles on the side to move easier. It also has a pillowtop which is a nice touch. It's smooth and silky to the touch and great quality stitching. It is a firm mattress, but with the soft pillowtop it feels really comfortable. Not so much that you sink in, but definitely enough to be enjoyable. It's not bouncy like coil mattresses and not stiff like the firm foam mattresses. As GoldiLocks would say, "it's just right". I slept on this mattress for 7 days. With this mattress I wake up feeling actually refreshed. I haven't slept a full night in I don't even know how long. Limited tossing and turning as well. Seemed to feel and stay cooler than my old mattress too. On my old mattress I had shoulder pain when I woke up. Now I'm not going to say it's gone, but 75% better for sure. My rating for the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop mattress is an easy 10/10. Amazing product! I've already raves about it to my friends and family. My Dad is coming this weekend to try it out too. Saying goodbye to my old foam mattress and I will be investing in another for my guest room soon. It will be worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a firmer mattress than the one I had. This is perfect. It's firm , but not hard. It's super comfortable. My daughter shares my bed. My favorite part about the mattress is that when she moves around, it doesn't wake me. The whole bed doesn't move or shake when she moves around in the middle of the night. The mattress has also been helping my back feel better. I'm not waking up with back pain since I switched to this mattress! I will never buy another brand! I am so impressed with the overall quality of the mattress. The thickness is about double what my other mattress was as well.

I have been coping with back and hip pain for two years and realized it was my 8yr old memory foam mattress, after traveling and sleeping in hotel beds for a period of time. I decided to shop for a new bed and tried about two dozen mattresses. This particular mattress was like resting on a cloud in the showroom...and after the first night sleeping on it at home, I woke up with no back or hip pain. Now, about a month later...still pain free!! I didn't love the price, but overall worth the investment.

I like the mattress a lot. It is very comfortable. My only issue I have is that I did not receive any paperwork that told anything about the warranty although I did register it online. I don't know for how long it is under warranty. Please send me information about the warranty to my email address.

Great at first but didn't last long... The depressions where we've slept are so bad that it's impossible to slept anywhere else. We always end up back in the depressions. Over time, it's gotten worse and worse and worse. We also got the adjustable base. It's so poorly crafted that we feel every movement all night long. We've had 17 months and we're already replacing. 4K down the drain for a crappy mattress and adjustable bar. Save you money and shop elsewhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sterns & Foster sent me this mattress to review. I generally prefer firm mattress but was willing to give this one a try. I didn't know what to expect with a "medium tight top" mattress. It's softer than what I believe a medium should be, however it is very comfortable. It is a deep navy color and very thick, looks very nice. The only negative I have found so far, is that I feel it sleeps a little warmer than my previous mattress. Nothing a little change in the room temperature couldn't fix though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First lets start off that this is an absolutely beautiful mattress, expensive but beautiful. But getting straight to it, for the price, the craftmanship should be wayyyy better. There were tons of stray threads all over the mattress which to me is unacceptable for the price. There are "nooks/divots" all over the mattress which can be slightly uncomfortable if your used to your traditional smooth mattress. I especially don't like this feature around the edges of the mattress because when you sit at the edge of the bed it feels like it is sinking in but it is not. When it comes to the comfort of the bed I received the medium pillow top. My mattress before was a firm and I would rotate using a memory foam topper ever 6 months. The first 2 weeks on this mattress was an absolute nightmare! I could not fall asleep, tossed and turned and woke up with constant back pain. For reference I am 5'9 200+ lbs and sleep alone so I had tons of room to roam on the mattress. By week 3 I was sleeping through the night and since then, every night is the best sleep I have ever had! You will have to break in this mattress which is a bit disappointing due to the price. The mattress is firm but still comfy, soft and welcoming without feeling suffocated. I attribute this to the pillow top giving added comfort. There is no noise (squeaks) when getting on/off the mattress and movement does not transfer if you are sharing the mattress with a child or partner. The mattress does sit quite high on the box spring but I like that since I am tall myself. I've had it for 2 months and it is holding up well, no sagging or anything. I expect this mattress to last a lifetime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Love my Stearns and Foster Lux Estate King mattress. I am 60 years old and have had many brands of beds in my life. Never have I had the best night sleeps since purchasing this bed. My sister recommended Stearns and Foster and boy was she right. I have fibromyalgia and a bad back and I am telling you this bed has been a life saver. They said it might take awhile to get use to a new bed .. not for me. The very first night in my bed was life changing. I have told everyone I know with pain how this bed has changed my life. I wish I would have known this many years ago. ❤️

I have the Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop. Its a VERY hot mattress to sleep on. I have never been a hot sleeper but on this mattress, I have turned into one thanks to the Tempur Indulge foam. (This is NOT my first rodeo with memory foam). I have tried 100% Bamboo sheets, low thread count sheets, no mattress protector, and keeping my thermostat at 67 degrees while I sleep. Nothing has helped me sleep cool on this mattress. I even called Stearns' customer service and the Rep said that the cooling cover on the Lux Estate just doesn't work well for everyone. I stopped by a local mattress store yesterday and spoke with the salesman about the heat issues on this mattress. He wasnt shocked and actually told me he expects to hear more complaints about this bed holding heat. He agreed that the vents on the side of the mattress are more cosmetic than anything. It doesnt aid in cooling the mattress whatsoever. I am currently in the process of trying to buy a new (non Stearns and Foster) bed. Aside from the heat, the mattress is comfy for the 3 weeks I have had it. Its a medium soft feel and I am a strict side sleeper.
