I’d like to share a review of my new mattress the Stern and Foster ESTATE FIRM EPT. First, I’d like to give you a little background on why I selected this mattress. My husband and I were out mattress shopping because the mattress that was in our home was affected by the Eaton fire In January 2025 and had soot and an odor of smoke. We needed to replace it, which we were ok with that, because even though we had recently purchased that mattress in a 2021 and it wasn’t that old, it had already developed a slope and was not really that comfortable. Actually after it was delivered brand new’ it wasn’t that comfortable. So we were extremely happy to get a new mattress! We went to the local Sit And Sleep and tried, I’d say at least 15 different types, and kind of mattresses in our price range. We spent over two hours in the store trying to find the perfect mattress. I then remembered the story my best friend shared with me a couple months prior to us going shopping, that she had owned her Sterns and foster mattress for over 25 years and she was still so satisfied with her SF mattress! That speaks volumes on the quality, durability and how well made your mattresses are. She loves her mattress. She has the abilities to replace it, but she does not want to because she is very comfortable with it, but here’s the best part of the story. My best friend has gone through several body weight changes since she’s owned the S&F mattress, at one point she weighed over 325 pounds and now she weighs about 140 pounds. Your mattress still supports her and she’s still very happy with it! Now that’s a testimonial! We laid on this particular S& F mattress, and we fell in love with it, even though it was a little more than our budget , we purchased it and that is my testimony. From the minute it was delivered to our home till this point now three months later, we are very happy and pleased with our Purchase! It’s so comfortable and has increased our sleep time. I have been sleeping well for 65 years on Stearns and Foster mattresses, and this year, 2026, was a time for an upgrade. The first mattress was purchased by my fiancé and me at Fair Mercantile in St. Louis, Missouri. We bought a canopy bed frame to accompany the mattress and box springs. We were stylin’, let me tell you! After a few years it was time to purchase beds for children and Stearns and Foster was our choice. In early 1990 we were ready to refresh our bedding.,we purchased, you guessed it, Stearns and Foster at Robb and Stuckey in Orlando, where we now lived. We have been always, so happy with firm and supportive bedding. Come to 2026, and I received the Consumer Report issue of mattress and bedding “picks”. I studied and shopped for almost two months for new bedding, and in the process came back to Stearns and Foster! There are many more choices in bedding today than years ago, to be sure, but the endgame for me was/is the names Stearns and Foster, plus the association with Tempurpedic. I ordered the Estate Pillow Top Firm Queen and the Ease frame. In two months now, I can fall asleep in five minutes and sleep well all night! No surprise there, as that’s always the way sleeping on a Stearns and Foster mattress has been, since 1960! The Ease frame was a new choice, and the fact that I have an acid reflux issue made the decision a wise one. I am faring well with the adjustable head of bed. I’ve owned my mattress for less than two years and it has a small hole from the material unraveling. They said it is cosmetic and is not covered under the warranty. How could a mattress less than two years spring a hole. I’ve owned many mattresses and this has never happened. This is not a cosmetic issue, it is a manufacturer issue and they could care less to try and resolve the matter.

Was a good mattress for a few years, then it started indenting in the middle. My previous double sided S&F was wonderful, is now 25 years old, and is holding strong but these new models are no good. Too bad, because I spent good money on a mattress that only lasted a few years. NEVER AGAIN.

I wish I could send a picture to show how bad blue cheap material looks just after a few months of regular use. It looks awful! My old twenty years old mattress looked better when I decided to replace it! It looks bad like an old cheap pullover and they call it “ lux” ? Don ‘t be fooled by how pretty it looks in the store. Buy a different brand with real quality material that lasts for years.

I wish I knew how heavy this mattress was going to be, we have a difficult time tucking in the sheets and blanket. Our old mattress did not sag in the middle, I have to work myself to the side with this one. I also wake up in the middle of the night now since we bought this mattress with pain in my hands, I've tried changing pillows but it doesn't make a difference. Turning the mattress is a real chore. I did not read reviews before buying.

Been shopping for new mattress for a while, finally found one I don’t sink into and supports me! I wake up feeling refreshed with no pain. Love my new mattress! It’s so pretty and well made too! Well worth the money! Great delivery and set up! Wonderful experience all around! So happy!

My wife and I have been married for 29 yrs. and this is our third Stearns and Foster bed - a queen and two kings. No doubt, the bed performance holds up to the test of time and is made of excellent quality. Our favorite part is the lack of vibration and movement when one of rolls over, changes positions or gets out of bed. By not knowing when the other is moving, this allows each of us to have uninterrupted sleep throughout the night. Like the three bears, the medium firmness is perfect for both of us. Not too soft that we sink in and get a sore back and not to firm that we get bed sores.

We had another name brand mattress for a few years, but it just did not give us the support and comfort we were looking for. We found this Stearns & Foster after trying many mattresses. We have had it for about 40 nights now and we both sleep better and wake refreshed. While the top is soft and plush to the touch, when we lay one it that soft layer turns to support the curves in your body while the underlying firmness of the mattress supports the whole body. Overall, we are very happy and would recommend this mattress to anyone.

I certainly needed a new mattress as mine was about 25 years old! The sag in the middle wasn’t conducive to great sleep. It took only 2-3 nights to adjust to my new - Stearns & Foster. Am now enjoying a wonderful nights sleep. I wake up refreshed. I had hoped to make it a bit lower but the pillow top added to the height- a small price to pay - great quality- good decision on my part!
