Our old one was memory foam and did not have enough support at all especially for my boyfriend who would wake up with back pain all the time. He hasn't complained once since we got this mattress and I feel much more support and comfortable as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Stearns & Foster mattress loyalist. Their value is immeasurable. I am a side sleeper who prefers the firmest mattress I can find. The firm Estate mattress delivers excellent supportive comfort. My first S&F lasted 20 years and my new firm Estate mattress is proving its worth for fabulous sound sleep. The quality careful construction of my new firm Estate suggests this fabulous mattress will serve me well for another couple decades. The mattress is very heavy but with the handles I can still manage to move on and off the platform bed by myself. The reinforced side walls are amazing and will hold up to sitting on the bed edge when necessary.

After experiencing several different brands of mattresses for our own bed we knew we had to go back to S & F. Maybe we're "old school" but the old fashioned support system is still good to this day so why deviate from it. Went with medium support and it's plenty firm enough - probably last the rest of our lives(we're mid 70's). We don't want to sink into our mattress, we want it to adequately support us and S & F does just that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I called Stearns & Foster for help to find out which current model of mattress equated to my 10-year-old S&F mattress -- I wanted to buy a new mattress that is as supremely comfortable as the one I had been sleeping on (Stearns & Foster 'Tuscan Summer') since July 2014. Sydney in the Kentucky office was the best customer service person I have spoken to in many, many years -- she had all the answers, some to questions I didn't know to ask. She offered all the current promotional prices available, explained all the delivery procedures, and ordered the Estate mattress for me during our call. I could hardly believe how easy it was.

I love the feeling of being level from head to toe. I think my nighttime sleeping has improved my daytime posture. The firm pillow top gives me just enough cushiness to feel pampered by my mattress. I shouldn't have waited so long to get a new one.

I found ordering from Sterns and Foster's website to be better priced than at the mattress stores. Customer Service was very helpful and delivery took about 2 weeks.

At first we opted for a hybrid bed in a box from a reputable firm but after six months had to switch back to Stearns and Foster. So far so good!
