This is a great bed. Little on the firm side when you first climb in but soon its contoured to your body and you fall asleep for a good nights sleep. The top cover is a nice design and the cooling pillows are just amazing. Would buy again if I ever needed another bed.

My daughter and her husband..and one of my sons, both have a Ghost Bed. They have told me for the past year how much they love it. I finally jumped on the bandwagon after years of never being able to sleep on my right side due to hip pain. Yes, my previous mattress was old...so I thought I would give it a go. After day three I woke up with no hip pain whatsoever. I am speechless. Took me long enough, but would not trade it!!

Quality is excellent, provides great support for the mattress. I give this foundation three stars because it was a royal pain to put together. You really needed a power screwdriver to get the screws in, or a drill with a screwdriver bit. I hurt my wrist putting the stupid thing together.

I've slept on pillow tops and other brand named mattress which or comparable to the Ghostbed. They do not compare to the quality and comfort of the Ghostbed! I've had shoulder issues and back problems for years. I expected the same problems and issues with the Ghostbed however it's the best rest I've had in years! Absolutely amazing is all I can say. I plan on getting one for my son. Now if I could just get my girlfriend to get one I'd be in heaven! Thank you Ghostbed and Drinkin Bros!!

I bought the mattress 3 years ago and the pillows shortly after. I was looking for a great foundation for our mattress since we had gone through 2. I absolutely love our new foundation and recommend it. It gives so much support. The setup was easy and my ghostbed is finally complete!

The KD foundation is firm and sturdy which is exactly what you want under a mattress. The box it came in was extremely manageable compared to a traditional king size boxspring. I was easily able to carry it up a flight of stairs and into the bedroom for assembly. I've seen some complaints about the wood being dirty and splitting etc., but does it really matter? The foundation is rock solid once fully assembled, and after putting the cover on it, you can't even see the materials. I have no complaints and the cover matches our Ghostbed Luxe nicely. A word of advice, use a drill to put this thing together. The battery for my drill was dead and I was too lazy to wait for it to charge so I used a regular phillips screwdriver. It was doable, but I ended up with some pretty nasty blisters. Charge your drill.

The bed great but the set up was a pain to say the least. The video was hard to find and the directions were of little to no help. The little metal bars didn’t seem to want to fit at all. As we were trying to get them to fit my hand slipped and it crushed my finger a little.

Horrible foundation. From the pictures, it looks like a sturdy foundation. But in reality, it’s annoying to put together, and it so spaced out that the bed sinks in between the slates. Forget about any firmness. There is none. As it makes the bed feel saggy in certain areas. The height is great. But the foundation itself in a horrible combo with the bed.

I am a women in my 40s who knows how to use a drill, thank goodness. I had my 2 teens help me put his large foundation together. It took us about an hour and a half to put together. My complaint was that some of the pieces of wood had small cracks in them and I was worried that the wood would split more when I drilled the screws in but it turned out ok. The wood pieces were supposed to have indicators on where to put the screws but some of the wood did and some didn't or they were completely off from where they should be. Luckily, I have experience with using a drill and putting things together. However, if you don't have experience this will be difficult to assemble and you will need at least one helper. All in all it turned out great and supports the mattress well.

The product was received as the photos show. As we needed a bed right away as we were moving in to a new house we were forced to purchase a similar product locally. I asked for a refund and was told that you don't refund this product. I have a dispute in progress with my credit card company and they have refunded me the amount of this charge. I need to know what I should do with the damaged one we received as it is taking up space in our garage. In all honesty some of the wood was quite good while the part you see in the photos was made of very poor material. It was also full of slivers. Please advise me as what to do with this foundation. I'm 80 years old and it is quite hard for me to me to move it.
