I was using a standardly available two piece foldable platform for my mattress and it felt shaky, lumpy and squeaked with the barest of movements. I searched the internet for weeks trying to find something stable, solid and functional in the California King size - which is not easy to find! I found the ghost bed ad online and proceeded to read every single available review and thought that it might be too good to be true. It's not !! This ghost bed All-in-one foundation is not only the most comfortable, it's also very solid/well constructed one I have had the privilege to sleep on. The mattress is supported firmly without feeling hard, there are no lumps, no noises and no movements or feelings of instability. The construction takes about 40 minutes from open box to fully assembled. I recommend reviewing all pieces and instructions prior to starting assembly. Other than one section where I had thought I misunderstood the instructions regarding the middle support- it was a smooth process. The kit comes with the two little wrenches needed to complete assembly and it is easy to do- just review everything and lay out the parts before you start. I got in bed that first night and promptly went right to sleep. I haven't had any issues since- my sleep quality is even better than I could have expected. This basic foundation is well worth the price and I would not only absolutely purchase it again, I have plans to purchase another for my spare room.

I cannot tell how much I wish I would have just gone to my local furniture store to pick up Boxspring/Foundation. First of all what Ghostbed calls a "Boxspring/Foundation", is really just a bunch of cheap rotten pieces of wood that you have to screw together to make a basic box shape. And then throw a basic fitted sheet over it. There is literally nothing else. On top of that, they charge as much, if not more than a REAL Boxpring/Foundation. I love my mattress but I hate this foundation. It squeaks so much when you move around. And I dont think it will last more than a year. Every time I move, Im scared one of those rotten pieces of wood will break. Also its non-refundable, so save your time and money and just go pick one up at your local furniture store.

To be sure, I would buy this platform over and over again because I hate every kind of hand tool, electric or battery powered or otherwise. This no-tools platform is the bees knees! Now, because I am single and truly a God fearing Christian, it's durability has not been tested, nor will it be for a few years, so I cannot speak on how it holds up during nights of passion

Height-is about right like the fact that you can adjust it if wanted Setup- was easy had bed setup in about 30min, there are two set of hole for rail size found that out when bed was set up the first, the rails for the matters wouldn’t fit so we set rails up first then aligned the bed frame worked out better that way, bed is very sturdy. Match- ok

This foundation was very easy to set up. It has plenty of support, so I don't feel like it's going to break down quickly. However, if you're a renter with cheaper laminate flooring, this will slide. It's okay on a rug or with the nonslip pads, but it easily slides around our floor. The extended that makes it universal does not work with every headboard. We had to make adjustments to our headboard to make it work. Overall, satisfied with the purchase. Wouldn't repurchase.

The mattress is comfortable, but firmer than I was expecting, and much firmer than what I'm used to. The ordering process was easy, and shipping was fast, BUT the mattress and foundation were shipped from two different warehouses, and were delivered a day apart, so I had to take two days off work to receive the items instead of one, this was an inconvenience. The pillows are great, no complaints there. The foundation is the weak link in the chain. It was frustrating to assemble, and several of the planks split when I screwed them down. A couple of the planks were warped as well, causing the screw not to be able to find purchase on the other end, so they wouldn't stay down at all. I ended up having to purchase longer screws so that the warped planks would hold. If I had it to do over, I would not have bought the foundation, and just stuck with my old box spring.

Unboxing the Ghostbed was so easy !!!! Only slept on it one night and i could tell the difference from a regular spring mattress ..I also bought two Ghostbed pillows and was blown away how comfortable it is !! Buying by second one now !! Would definitely recommend

We ordered the queen size mattress and foundation online. My husband had to put the foundation together and it took a while but it is very sturdy and there are no sqeaks at all. The mattress "inflated" quickly and is on the firm side, but that is how we like it. Very easy process to order and set up- only problem is that, unlike buying from a brick and mortar store, no one came to haul off the old mattress and box springs. FYI-we are in our 60's.

Got this full size bed to replace my daughter's twin size Tempurpedic. It was awesome to be able to see the difference. Her old bed was quite stiff and cost a fortune. But her new Ghost Bed was beyond comfy and so reasonably priced. The bonus products were equally as impressive. We got the white sheet set and pillow. The sheets felt weird when we first received them, but after a cycle in the washer, they were really soft. And the pillow is great. I'd like to get one for myself now!!!

It took a little to set up, but it was worth it. I like the height it has the bed at with the legs on and how I don't have to worry about the the traditional issues that would come with a normal box spring. I also like how the metal is not out like a normal metal frame that would gouge out the drywall in my room if I need to move it around.
