Where the bars go I did have 4 plastic pieces where you insert the bars broke in transit but thankfully they had 4 extra pieces in the bag with the bolts. I find the height is perfect at 15 inches, not to high not to low. My other bed was a couple inches higher which I liked at the time but prefer this height now where I can actually sit on the bed a put my socks on! I did a lot of research before buying this platform and I would have to say I'm glad I did because for the price, quality is top notch in this price range. I have a small bedroom and this was perfect for that reason and the fact it's Solid! I've been sleeping on it for over a month and find it has improved my new memory foam mattress for comfort and support. Thank You :)

The GhostBed Queen foundation arrived as described and was relatively easy to unpack. Assembly required a bit more time and effort than anticipated and would have been quite challenging to complete without another person to aid in the process. The materials themselves fit together well enough but did not seem to have been measured and cut with a terribly high amount of precision as some boards were longer than others. Overall, though, once assembled the foundation has supported the queen GhostBed mattress without issue and is very lightweight and easy to maneuver (convenient when making the bed, for instance). This product comes recommended, although, there are certainly higher quality products out there.

I was up for screwing in all 48 screws, but less than a third of the pilot holes lined up so I had to drill new holes. One row of slats was shorter on one side and a couple slats were split and had large slivers missing. After all that assembly, the foundation was more narrow than the bed frame. Definitely not worth the price

The pieces didn't become flush when I was putting it together and that really bothered me. There's a gap between the inner slats and the outside pieces even though I made the corners flush. There were long screws in the screw bag I didn't know if I was supposed to use. There were no pre-drilled holes in some slats.

Relatively easy to put together. Took me and my husband about an hour total, but that’s only because it was damaged when we received it. It was a “easy” fix, but wish we didn’t have to fix to begin with. Otherwise, it works just like a boxspring should.

This was our second purchase. The foundation came damaged but we have the knowledge to repair to complete the construction and get it all set up. The pillows that came with this order were not of the same construction, quality and did were not what we would call GhostPillows as we knew them. We still have two mattresses to replace in the next year or so. As previously we will consider Ghost.

This foundation is very difficult to put together, and the pieces are not cut or designed to fit together normally. Because of this, it took us over 2 hours to try to make it work, with the holes not lined up, and the pieces overlapping unevenly, and even then, the slats were bowed over the main structure, i.e. sticking up and bent. Each corner of the foundation ended up looking like a hodgepodge of ill-fitting wood, just sort of slapped together with no effort to make sure the lengths of the wood would match up. Even the instructional video states that we should be fine with the wood splitting as it is put together. The quality overall is surprisingly poor considering how other furniture that one might put together - bookshelves, patio furniture, desks, and so on, - which are more complicated but do fit together. This bed foundation looks like whoever designed it had no expertise in wood, design, or carpentry.

This boxspring does seem sturdy and does not creak at all. However it was not as easy as the website made it seem to assemble. The website says assembly in less than 15 minutes, but it took my husband and I well more than that, and we are both very handy. It is made of wood and many of the pieces were warped so that one of us had to really hold down one side so that the other could screw it in. The fabric that holds the slats together ripped while assembling because of how much we had to pull and hold down the slats. Some of the wood pieces had gouges in them. This doesn't seem to affect the structural integrity, but for the cost of the boxspring, we expected it the be better quality.

Sturdy but was quite a pain to put together. Got a few splinters in my hands while working on it. Bought a Casper bed as well; same concept, but they wrap their frame pieces in cloth to make it look nicer and prevent splinters, and they don’t have you screw anything together. I like their product better, as far is boxsprings are concerned.

GhostBed All-in-One Foundation came nicely packaged with well explained instructions on how to assemble. The design was very well constructed with perfect height. I was happy with the total outcome and support. We sleep very well every night. Great purchase!!!
