I haven't used my SuperSeal yet, but it arrived well packaged and with nothing missing, so hopefully all is good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fairly straight forward and simple vacuum sealer with basic functionality for anyone who has interest in preserving food. There is a moist/dry food option, and it comes with a roll of bags, as well as reusable bags. The roll of bags was super simple to use - you simply cut off the desired length of bag, seal one end, put food into it, and then seal the other end using the "Seal/Vacuum" button. It sealed my chicken in probably around 15 seconds with a tight seal. Make sure to leave 2 inches at the top of the bag to get a tight seal. There is also a magnetic bag cutter that sticks onto the front of the sealer so that you can trim any excess. I had a bit of trouble with the reusable bags and external hose sealer, which is why I subtracted 1 star. I followed the manual exacting, plugging the hose into the sealer, and placing the cone shaped end over the hole on the bag. In order for the hose to work you MUST make sure that the sealer is shut correctly and completely (which I did), however, the hose still did not vacuum anything and I was unable to produce any kind of seal or suction on the bags. It is possible that this unit was faulty, but just something to be aware of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dash superseal vacuum sealer does an amazing job at sealing your foods to protect them from freezer burns. The sealer comes with everything to get you started. It comes with a roll you cut to size and seal both sides yourself. It has a cutter that comes with it also, to cut it down to the size you’d like to use. It also comes with these type of freezer bags that you suction the air out, you plug a hose on the side of the sealer, that put the suction portion on the hole one of the bags come with, then your good to go. The sealer has an option for dry or moist options. It also has the option to seal or vacuum button on its own. Or the last button, which does both. The last button I prefer to use because then I know it’s sealed right and all the air is out of the package. Just be sure to push lid of sealer to it clicks in place before you seal. The directions are a must read. Or some may think it doesn’t work. You have to follow step by step. There’s even videos online if you are still unsure. It doesn’t take much room up. It’s a great tool to have in anyone’s home to save money food that use to get freezer burn. Would make a great gift for someone who hunts for some of their food then, so they can properly freeze their catch/hunt they may have. Be sure to read the directions thoroughly because it recommended to also keep the cardboard piece inside machine for when you store the machine away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Vacuum Sealer to help me with preserving some of my bulk meat purchases. This vacuum sealer is super easy to use and quick. Im able to seal a week's worth of meal prep in 10 minutes. Easy and need to get more sealing bags.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DASH vacuum sealer works good for storing meats, veggies and breads. I haven’t used this item to seal liquids and I don’t plan on it. I use this product to seal family size meats into single servings and fresh vegetables. I prefer the vacuum seal bags, it’s more convenient because you don’t have to create your own seal. It just makes the sealing process much faster. I have tried to use the plastic roll to create my own bags, it works good but again is a lil more time consuming. The seal keeps my meats and veggies tasting and looking great. I haven’t had any problem with freezer burn or bad veggies. Not to mention, the vacuum sealer matches my kitchen decor.

I just received my SuperSeal Vacuum Sealer today, I checked to be sure everything worked and it did, I was very careful to follow all the directions we are very happy about thatand to finally receive it we've been waiting because our old one stop working different machine, this one is much smaller I stored it in a kitchen drawer until ready for use. So far so good prayerfully hopeing no problems later.
