I don’t know why they would change the formula, but the green lid one does not work well on my skin. The blue lid formula was excellent, recommended by Dermatologist. This new stuff is garbage. A lot of people have been experiencing this issue too. I can’t buy this anymore since it’s not working as the old formula did!

This product is fine, I have eczema and would definitely say there are better lotions you could buy than this one, but it’s not too bad. My main gripe is that it pills?? If I put a lot on or rub it in too long it just balls up and flakes off. Also it kind of smells like sunscreen, which i can’t stand the smell of.

I was recommended by my pediatrician a few years ago to use this product on my daughters extremely dry skin. It worked well but in the last year she refused to use this moisturizer as it made her skin itch. I spoke to her allergist and to my amazement she advised that the ingredients changed in this product and it includes sweet almond oil now. Which explains why the product worked well a few years ago and now does not. I am disappointed that the ingredients include a nut oil.

I had mild laser treatment to my face. I was using the products that I received at the time of treatment to apply to my skin for healing. When those products were done I would of had to purchase more but because of their high cost I went searching for a less expensive but good quality moisturizer. After reading all reviews I decided to give your product a try. To my surprise the very first time I applied to my sensitive skin I was amazed. This moisturizer looks and feels great on my healing sensitive skin. I will continue to use and highly recommend!

Especially since my skin had changed a lot over the years and it seems that I have developed eczema. I was happy to see that the cream was still very moisturizing without being oily. It is very thick, but goes on smoothly and doesn't take a lot to rub into the skin. It left my skin feeling very smooth and soft to the touch. It does have a light scent that isn't overpowering. Hands down recommended, no matter what your skin concerns are!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the new reformulated Cetaphil moisturizing cream with niacinimide, panthenol(vitamin b5) & glycerin. It’s very creamy & rich but I don’t find it to be greasy at all. My skin has not felt dry or flaky at all since I’ve started using this the past week. And There is no scent. I really love this stuff I’m pretty sure I will continue to purchase this once I run out! Highly recommend this for anyone with dry or sensitive skin :)

I compared the ingredients in the old blue cap tub vs. this new green. There are several key differences (from what I can tell) . The old blue one had Glyceryl Polymethacrylate as the third ingredient - it is a film former and viscosity controller which probably gave the old forumula its fantastic consistency. The old one worked great under foundations on the face. Why did Cetaphil change a beloved, trusted product?

I have had oily skin my whole life and in the last number of years, I developed combination skin. One night a few months ago I didn't have my regular night-time moisturizer or eye cream. My mom suggested that I use this. It actually took the place of both eye cream and my moisturizer! When I finish up with my moisturizer, I plan on getting more of this stuff, even though she has the old version.

I loved Cetphil moisturing cream for sensitive skin for probably 20 years. Fantastic. This fall 2020 i bought a couple and both are thin and greasy. Nothing like the one I’ve used for years. Really awful. Old one was blue lid. New one is green lid. I am giving this new awful version away and looking for another brand.
