I had the cheaper one and used it many years. I decided to get the better model. I absolutely love it. I use it several times a week.

Pretty, easy to hold and use. Works well at both low and high speeds. It is more powerful than I expected. Nice product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this mixer to make a bread pudding custard. I was pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to use! The whisk was so easy to attach, I didn't even think to pull out the instructions until after I had done so. And, is she ever powerful! I had to keep the power setting to a minimum in order to keep my custard from spilling over the bowl! Fortunately, the trigger control was responsive to the touch. Cleaning was easy as well.

I was surprised at how quick it does the job and it was very quiet. Great for making a pot of tomato sauce or broccoli soup but our favorite was making quick milkshakes right in the glass, no large appliance to clean! Speaking of that, super easy to clean and it’s easy to store too!

I love that it is easy to put together and that the wisk part can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher. It defentily takes out the lumps in batter and mixes well. I love that its small and fits in the drawer well. I would recommend this to anyone.

I’ve had a hand blender from a different brand where everything except the blade was plastic, it wasn’t durable and it wasn’t reliable. This Hamilton Beach Professional blender is gorgeous, the blade attachment is all metal plus there is even a whisk attachment that is much more convenient than getting my bulkier hand mixer out. I love everything about this new hand blender, the only thing that could make it better is if it had a mini processor to use with it for smaller jobs that don’t need a large food processor. Get this, you will not regret it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This immersion blender is a great fit for anyone looking to make it easier to cook favorites, but also try making new things. For example, I like making my own salad dressing, but emulsifying the mixture brings it to a whole new level. Also, the whisk attachment is great for preparing cake mixes and brownies. The blade attachment can make smoothie creation a breeze and even salsa or hummus! I think that the opportunity to now make cream soups is what gets me the most excited. I am impressed with the comfortable handle and ease with which I can change the speed. The speeds offer a great variety to handle a variety of cooking endeavors. I used the whisk (as seen in the images and video) to prepare blueberry muffins! I could make it gentle enough to fold in blueberries, but ensure it is mixed thoroughly. I highly recommend this cooking tool.

I was able to successful make a quick crepe batter and blender hollandaise sauce. The unit is powerful enough for my needs (slightly heavy) and easy to use with the ergonomic trigger design. Not designed for deep stock pots but was great for pureeing in 4Qt soup/pasta pot.

Its design is very nice and premium quality. I liked the power button, it's like a car accelerator, as you press it is the speed it takes, it's great. It reaches a very good speed and grinds food very well, leaving them pureed when desired. The only thing that I could say negatively is that it is somewhat heavy, I would have liked something lighter. But in itself I liked the product. Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to make soup and smoothies. I had a better experience using this for soups then i did for smoothie use. It helped easily blend the vegetables in the soup to a much more smooth consistency. In the smoothies, i did use a smaller bowl and found it difficult to get the blades to grab the frozen fruits. It did eventually blend the fruits into a smooth consistency. Handling the blender is fantastic as it is light weight, easy to move around, and quick to clean up.
