Faster than expected

I ordered this egift card to save money on an upcoming trip. I read the reviews about timing of the e-delivery and wanted to add that it only took a few minutes for me to get my ecard so I would highly recommend. My two cents would be to make sure you have the flexibility to wait since it lets you know in advance that it could take up to 48 hours.

Good savings

Digital delivery, receive in my email within 15 mins and saved me a little more than $10. Used it at the website to purchase a ticket which I would have done anyway. Easy as it can be. Thanks.

Easy to Use

i have bought several of these cards in $250 and $500 amounts. Receive the e-card promptly and easy to use when checking out on SW Air website. I like the savings which makes our flights cheaper.

Worked well for me!

Received my gift card by email after about 25 minutes. I was able to access the code on my phone, and it worked immediately.

Gift Card eDelivery glitch

Email Delivery in less than 10 minutes. I was worried at first because I had the same issue as another reviewer with various error codes when trying to open the emailed link. Switched browsers and was able to view the card with no issues. FYI - initially opened with Edge (errors) but no problems when I opened with Chrome. Was able to use the gift card code immediately to purchase a flight.

Money Saver!

I bought four of these $250 gift cards during an additional sale and only paid $917 for two passengers. All four loaded and processed with no problem, and I have gift card balance remaining on the last gift card to use on a future flight. NOTE: you can't use for add-ons like early check-in or with other options with packages on rentals or reservations.

Try a different browers

It was nice to save a few dollars on our flight. I had some difficulty retrieving the gift cards, but then switched browsers. I tried many ways on Chrome and it didn't work. Switched to Edge and it worked the first time.

I bought 3 cards to accommodate my plane costs. Unbenounced to me, SouthWest now only takes two gift cards (GC) per transaction. Now I have a whole unused gift card I can not use right now and still had to come out of pocket to cover the rest of my flight (that was supposed to be covered under the 3rd GC). I called Sams, and they won't refund my money because GC's are non refundable 🙄. So much for trying to sace money. I will have to figure something else out. So anyone needing cards for a flight, make sure they are covered in just 2 cards.

Buyer beware refund less flexible than original

I was able to use several gift cards to purchase tickets for the family, but a couple months before our departure Southwest canceled our return flight and booked us on a different flight with a departure time that did not work for us. Since we couldn't find an alternate flight with Southwest we had to cancel the return flight entirely and ask for a refund. At this point I found out that when we purchased the tickets, the gift cards were arbitrarily assigned to the different flights and so when they refunded the return flight, part of it was refunded to our credit card, but $370 of it was refunded as flight credit only, and on top of that they said it was only usable for the passenger that it was refunded to (and the reasoning for this was because part of the ticket being refunded was purchased with a gift card). The cost of the outbound flights that we still have booked is more than the amount I used in gift cards, so I've been going back and forth with Southwest trying to figure out why I can't use the gift card funds on the outbound flights and get the return flight canceled and all refunded to our credit card. So far all they have responded with is saying that they can't do anything about it and as a way of saying sorry gave each passenger a flight voucher of $100 that can only be used for that passenger and they expire in 1 year which we only fly maybe once every 3-5 years, so those will likely go unused.
