Here are the important tips for you to protect this pan. 1) Always cook on low to medium heat. 2) Always cool down to room temperature before washing. 3) Hand washing recommended although dishwasher safe. 4) Avoid sudden temperature change ( Thermal Shock ) on the pan and lid. 5) When using gas, keep the open fire just touching the bottom of the pan and avoid the open fire climbing onto the cooker walls.
