This is a replacement mattress, and it has the same problem as the previous one. it sinks where we lie. I weigh 175 and my wife 142 so that should not be an issue. We have requested another replacement but the requirements from Ashley furniture exceed our physical abilities ages 84 and 80) such as photographing the label and 360-degree photos of the matress. We had a Sterns and Foster double pillow top for years with no problem This matrass is substandard and not as good as a $500 matress that it replaced. So sorry we did it, we are just stuck with it since we have no clear path to fix the problem.

Do not buy from this company Stearns and foster , they do not treat customers with dignity, I bought the foundation and a day later I called and said that I would like to return it because the bed I am going to buy will not need foundation, they said that they do not accept returns even a day after purchase and still in the plastic

It has been very comfortable and my lower back thanks me! I do feel the mattress sleeps warmer that our last mattress but it's not a deal breaker. I am haven't noticed any sag yet and I'm hoping it stays that way. All in all it's a nice upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress proved to be excellent for my back. I was skeptical for the ultra firmness but it proved that this is what I wanted. I do not use a spring box and I have it on the floor (sleep with my 2yr son). It helped my back pain disappear and it is highly recommended if you are sleeping on your back. Granted, I'm not able to sleep on my stomach any more but I do not care. It is a thick mattress that adds several inches clearance from the ground. Sitting on the edge doesn't create an issue i.e. it doesn't sank in. It may take a couple of days to adjust to it but I will never go back.

The mattress is firm and supportive for your body, but the pillowtop adds a comfy layer so when you climb into bed you are surrounded with comfort. I will say this mattress is very thick and heavy. It's a bit hard to change the sheets because it's so heavy to lift and tuck the sheet under. We are using it on a platform bed so there is no need for a box spring. DO NOT PURCHASE THE PILLOW TOP!!!!! We have two body indentions in each side of the mattress where my husband and I sleep. Early on I had an inspection done for this reason and of course they said it wasn't bad enough to do anything about it. We rotate the mattress often but it doesn't help. When the grandchildren spend the night they remind us we have a lumpy bed. And every day, when I make up the bed it is a constant reminder of how bad it looks because you can see the indentions.

I have been sleeping on this mattress for about 3 weeks now and am enjoying it. The pillowtop is incredibly plush and you just melt into it. I am a stomach sleeper and have trouble finding mattresses that are comfortable for me. This one has the softness of the pillowtop, but still has support, which is working out well for me. I have not been having as much back pain when I wake up. One concern I have is that despite having a firmness below the pillowtop for comfort while sleeping, the sides of the mattress do not seem to have as much side support as other mattresses I've had. I do not know if this will effect it long term, but is one thing I will be keeping an eye out fur issues as I have this mattress long term.

I didn't know what to expect with a "medium tight top" mattress. It's softer than what I believe a medium should be, however it is very comfortable. It is a deep navy color and very thick, looks very nice. The only negative I have found so far, is that I feel it sleeps a little warmer than my previous mattress. Nothing a little change in the room temperature couldn't fix though.

For that, I am incredibly grateful! I honestly wasn't expecting much from the mattress. As someone who suffers from an autoimmune disease, I've grown accustomed to aches and pains. For background, I added a 3" memory foam topper to my old bed just to sleep comfortably. My family likes to travel, and I actually take memory foam with me to try to make sleeping on a different mattress tolerable. I expected this new mattress to be a similar experience. I planned to try it for a few nights so that I could provide my (expected to be negative) point of view and then compare/contrast with my husband's opinion while I went back to my 3" memory foam. Now here I am, weeks later... No memory foam in sight! And I haven't even asked my husband's opinion. For the record, he hasn't complained, which basically means he likes it. I have no idea how the mattress does it, but I've been sleeping really, really well - no tossing and turning or waking up periodically throughout the night. I fall asleep quickly and wake up in the same position hours later. I had no idea how not-well-rested I was feeling until now. It's been amazing. Only time will tell if the experience continues, but I am feeling extremely optimistic. This isn't the outcome I expected, but I am so happy that the mattress has completely defied my expectations! One final note that I must throw in, even though it's completely irrelevant: the mattress is gorgeous! The deep blue with pattern... I'm sad that it has to be covered up; it fits the Lux Estate name perfectly.
