The scent is obviously stronger when first applied, it fades to where you can't smell it unless you do a sniff test, it does last all day though! My main complaint is that it isn't as strong at combatting sweat like I would expect from a clinical strength antiperspirant/deodorant stick. My husband has been on the hunt for a good antiperspirant and since we've tried many “men's” options we decided it would be good for him to give this a try as well. He said he feels powder fresh and dry for a little while and then he'll notice his shirt is wet from sweat. I can make it about halfway through the day before sweat becomes a problem. This deodorant also does not pass the black shirt test. It's not a bad product if you take away the clinical title and claim that you can be up to 72hrs sweat free. Will continue to use but may not replace my current antiperspirant/deodorant.
