It was a little wonky putting it together. Had to get a friend to help. The wiring was tight at the limbs and they had to be moved around. It’s probably something I will store covered and not re box. Overall I love it and have received compliments on it. I am using mine as indoor decor but i believe it would be just as nice outside. I missed that it flashed back and forth. I thought you could choose either or but that was just my misreading.

hUGe Halloween fan %26 I'm not gonna lie, really wanted the Grandin Road Halloween tree but as an average mom of 4 who's going to drop 5 bills on a faux tree for the porch in this economy!? These trees did not disappoint! They're Awesome! Matched the description and then some. Arrived promptly, packaged thoroughly %26 got one set up in about 5min. and at this value ordered two to really light it up!

Assembly is simple and quick. I did change one thing during assembly. You get silver-colored wingnut screws to hold the trunk together. Those tend to standout, so I opted to use commercial-grade black zip ties. Works the same and blend in with the tree. The lights cycle from all purple to all orange every few seconds. Very bright lights that shine well during daytime hours. The branches can be shaped to accommodate your display needs. They are also strong enough to add additional ornaments. No matter what other decor you put out, these trees will accent your Halloween display. Highly recommended!

Super cute. The only complaint is that I wish I could choose whether I wanted the colors to change or keep it one color. It's automatically changes colors and there are not settings you can choose from. Also, it's too light weight for outdoors. Maybe on your front porch with something heavy over the base but sting wind may knock it down.

This spooky tree is so cute! Easy to put together although when I first looked at it I thought it would be a nightmare to put together. It's sturdy enough to hold the heavy Cracker Barrel ornaments and you can bent the branches and shape it easy. I absolutely love the wicker look. Would have given 5 stars if the lights had a function button instead of flashing quickly from purple to orange. It's very busy but still cute.

It is very cute and the light are bright but it is not really 5 fee. That measurement is from the top of the of the longest branch on the tree, so one branch is 5 feet. My tree did not come with the stakes like it is supposed to so I got my own and it put weights on it because any sort of wind easily blows it over.

I did not like that the lights alternate quickly from purple to orange- it's too busy. Ideally it would have a multifunction dial or remote to choose color, steady, flashing, fade in, etc. Also, putting it together is annoying and takes too long. It is a nice big size, but the lights don't go all the way to the ends of the branches. I think if they changed the lighting to have multiple options, it would be a nice Halloween decoration. I took a video to add to this review, but unfortunately it only allows you to add photos.

Love the tree, quality, and brightness of the tree. But- the fact that we can not control how fast the lights flash....it's very visually busy. I wish we could keep it all purple. Or slowly fade from purple to orange. Not this fast pace flashing business.

This is great in theory: comes packaged in a very small box, so it's easy to store. Also, it is very easy to put together with or without instructions. However, be careful about moving the branches. They are bendable, but we did have several branches snap at the metal bases. Super easy fix with black zip ties, but for $70, you would expect better quality. I'd also agree with the reviewer who used zip ties instead of the provided hardware to connect the pieces. The provided wingnuts are noticeable against the black tree. There is no light control, so if you aren't a fan of blinking orange and purple lights, you might not like this feature.

This was a cute decoration. Awkward to put together but easy. The lights flash so you don’t have any control over them. I woke up this morning to the purple lights no longer working after 4 days of owning the product.
