Very nice table, well built should last a very long time.

This table set looks nice and seems sturdy. It is larger than I expected. It arrives in one heavy box, but it was packed very well. I ordered it for my new home, and my brother put it together for me in 2 to 3 hours. My sofa is still in transit, but I think the table will work well behind it. I'm deducting one star because the stools are too high for a tall person to sit on without their knees hitting the table. The wood that hangs down from the top of the table (not sure what it's called, but you can see it in the photo) blocks leg room.

overall this is a good table for the price my only issue is the stools assembly. The product photos and the actual instructions do not match. In the photo the longer connecting pieces are up higher than the sides. But the opposite on the instructions. I assembled 2 of the stools like the product photo and turned out fine and one like in the instructions and edges to not meet up. The issue now is you cant fit your foot on the foot rest and have legs under the table at the same time if you go by the product photo and if you go by the instructions it create gaps where the legs and stool seat line up . Something is definitionally off with construction

As other reviewers pointed out, this 4-piece set is not suitable if you plan to use it as a writing desk or for other tasks, which was promoted as one of its functionalities. The table is too low and the stools are too high so basically you cannot even squeeze your legs under the table while sitting on the stool. Even if you managed to squeeze your legs under the table while sitting on the stool, the lower table and higher stool require you to hunch and slouch in order to type on your computer -- not good for your posture and not comfortable at all. For purely decorative purpose, this sofa table is fine. Sam's club and the manufacturer should not advise in picture and in written to mislead consumers to think that you can use this as a proper desk.

oh my goodness don't do it. the product would be okay if everyone didn't come damaged. and trust me returning them is a NIGHTMARE. Fedex picked up the good one and not the damaged one, so now I have a damaged table and no replacement one and no way to return the damaged one again. Sam's doesn't issue you the return label so you don't have a tracking number to call and give to FedEx to return. I'm about to eat the $500 dollars because this is unbelievably painful.

The box it arrived in had clearly been opened and taped back together again. The furniture was also damaged inside and all the bolts, nuts were loose and missing. Returned for refund as item also looked very cheap.

The stools came with the wrong legs, as in they will not go together because there are two types of legs, and I have too many of one type and too few of the other type. Impossible to assemble without the correct ones. As you can see in the picture all of the c legs should match and they do not.

The first one arrived damaged and the side pieces that are supposed to go straight across do not fit properly so they are diagonal and have gaps instead of being flush. The second one- the replacement for the first arrived with the same problem. Side pieces do not fit properly-AND the chairs a mismatched. Sam’s Club offers to send a replacement again. What would make me trust the third one will be any different from the first two? Don’t waste your time or money. There is obviously a defect in the manufacturing. Tried to upload photos multiple times. There’s an error every time.
