This mattress retains heat like no other mattress I have ever owned. My husband and I both wake up frequently tossing and turning trying to find a cool spot on the bed. It is almost tolerable in winter, but I am dreading warmer weather. I would have given it 1 star but my husband does like the support for his back. I can't wait to get a new mattress and we've had this one less than two years. It is already getting dips and lumps too. Also it is very heavy which makes it difficult to tuck the sheets under.

I've always been a hybrid on wanting soft with slight firmness but this is the first time I've experienced a firm mattress and I never want to go back. Well worth the wait.

The Stearns & Foster Estate Soft Tight-Top Queen Mattress is a thick and luxurious mattress that will elevate any bedroom style. This mattress is tall, with a solid, well-made structure and soft material. The design touches on and around the mattress speak to the Stearns & Foster reputation as one of a high-quality and modern upgrade from any regular mattress on the market. I especially like the imbedded side handles, for easy moving and placement. While this mattress is considered to be the Soft model, it does have a firmness to it and could be plusher when lying down. However, I'm sure with time and usage this will be just a perfect comfort level. Definitely recommend Stearns & Foster mattresses for their attention to detail and comfort.

This is a pretty fantastic mattress, it offers lots of support, you can tell it's very high quality. The mattress I was sleeping on before was only two years old and never offered this type of support, this mattress literally hugs your body and doesn't put extra pressure on your joints. Me and my Beau, both have been sleeping on this mattress and have been sleeping much better and more soundly, my Beau has said his back and legs hurt less since we started using this mattress, it's also much quicker to get comfortable which has resulted in less tossing and turning. I would absolutely buy this product and recommend it to anyone looking for a new mattress, that is not only comfortable but provides support, it's worth every penny. The mattress itself is very luxurious looking, it has a nice blue and a beautiful pattern on the pillow top, you can see how high quality the stitching is and the soft handles make it very easy to move, it is a bit heavy-duty but I think that adds to the fact it's made to last. I enjoy a firm mattress, so that is what I got and I am completely satisfied. I expected to be a little uncomfortable as I broke the firmness in a bit, but I didn't experience that. From the day it was delivered, it's been like sleeping on a cloud. A very firm cloud. LoL. This mattress has all but eliminated my back and hip pain. I would recommend this mattress to everyone. Seriously. My son and I fight over who wants to sleep on it. LoL. It is worth every penny, I promise.

King Estate mattress badly sagging after 3 months..sterns and foster is not the quality mattress it once was..10 yr warranty is a joke..they will not help me at all..told me to contact retailer I bought it from..they told me they could not help and to contact sterns and foster..do not waste your money ...

I am 62 and bought the Estate Collection Firm Pillow Top mattress with adjustable frame 127 days ago. My old mattress was soft and caused back and hip pain so I opted for the mattress with the firm topper. I am a back and side sleeper. Although the mattress initially felt comfortable and luxurious it started agitating my back and hips and I feel pain within 10 minutes of getting up in the morning that lasts all day. Unfortunately, I cannot return the mattress (trial period expired) and it was a very expensive purchase for me. I'm considering buying a Tempur-Pedic topper to see if that gives my back and hips some relief. I wish I had purchased a mattress with a medium topper instead. The medium one may have given me that hotel level luxury sleep I was striving for.

Delivery and setup was flawless and took no time at all. I've never had a pillow top mattress before and so happy I got to try this one. Over that last couple of years I've suffered from back pain. Only after 2 nights of sleeping on this mattress my back pain has mostly disappeared. For a firm mattress, it isn't stiff and uncomfortable like a lot of other firm mattresses that I've had in the past. It is a little taller than any mattress I've ever had but not a problem for me. Overall I think if you are a larger person and want a mattress that will give you support but also comfort for your hips and shoulders, you'll want to try this estate firm pillow top mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually, I have extra things added to my bedding to make it more comfy, no matter what mattress I had I always had the memory foam toppers, the egg carton-looking topper, or unused blankets just to add more cushion. Not with this mattress. Granted, it took about a month to break it in for it to be comfy, but now it is the best sleep EVER. I sink right into it. The mattress is by no means thin. It is very thick and plush. I highly recommend this brand!!!
