Good Picture, But Less Connectors and Pause Issue

It has a good picture, but has several flaws. TVs in general seem to have been dumbed down by manufacturers, reducing the the number of features and connectors. !. No headphone or RCA outputs, so you'll need an optical to analogue converter to drive older audio equipment 2. No RCA audio (red and white connectors) or composite video (yellow connector) inputs, so the TV can't be connected to e.g. a video camera or analog audio source. 3. Live TV can't be paused on any of the USB flash drives/memory sticks I've tried, however it was possible to record on all of them. It may be the case that an external hard drive (or internal SATA drive with an adapter/enclosure) is necessary. LG customer support had no information on this. 4. I found it difficult to switch between satellite channels and antenna channels (there's two tuners on the TV). There's no button to do this and also selections from both satellite and antenna can't be put on the same favourites list. I eventually found it's possible to do the swith by putting a channel from each source on a quick access key. 5. The TV only has one USB connector. So if you use this for a USB memory stick or hard drive, theres no USB source to power e.g. an optical digital to analog sound converter.

Replacement TV

Bought this television to replace a 40 year old Ferguson that was still working well via a Sky box as I have other LG's in the house. Dissapointed in the quality of the sound compaired to the two other LG's I have, tried all the sound settingsbut whilst a little better still poor quality sound. The only way I have found to switch between Freevie and Freesat involves lots of button presses,as follows Guide Left Down Programes Up Up Up ... Down to Antenna OK I trust there will be a firmware update to give a one or two press remote soloution.

Poor

Bought in July 23. Should have taken it straight back. OK it's a cheap tv, but there are major problems: 1. The picture is only good from the straight ahead. We cannot all sit right in front, and moving to the side results in a completely washed out picture 2. The tv suffers from frequent hanging. The "live tv" app is particularly prone to this and hangs regularly with the message "this app will restart to free up memory". There appears to be no permanent fix 3. All the blurbs and instructions refer to a feature packed "magic" remote. What you actually get is a cheap, too small remote.

Great TV for the Price

Bought this tv just over a week ago to replace our old LG tv, great picture and sound, along with good wi-fi on catch up etc. Only downside was there are only one set of nuts ( 4 ) built into the back of the tv set to secure the supports to hang on the wall bracket, in my case this support covered the port on the tv that you attach the satalite cable to, if I had raised this support up it would have been sticking out the top of the TV so I had to do some modifications to the wall bracket supports. so just be careful that you dont have to buy a wall bracket aswell

Very Frustrating

The remote supplied with TV is not the remote shown in the 'Support Videos'. I have looked for information that applies to the AKB76040301 remote but none exists. Come on LG you can do better than this. How do I find the FreeSat channels? How do I find the FreeView rewind feature? How do I pair with Alexa? How do I control from my mobile? I want to like this product but at the moment I can't find any useful information!!! Hence I shall be marking down the ratings.
