After our previous Beautyrest mattress failed, we got the black in series 3, firm. My husband and I bought it about 3-4 months ago. Long story short, it failed. There are two dents in the bed from us. Had the inspector come today and confirm the mattress had failed. It also is advertised as "firm", but is a "medium". Even as a medium, there should not be two big dents in the bed now. Beautyrest quality has drastically declined, and the beds are mostly stuffed with soft garbage, it seems. We are done with this brand. This is sad, because it once was a coveted mattress brand. Now they just produce trash that fails. We will be going to a private and local mattress company. Will be getting a simple, no frills mattress. Zero padding and definitely no pillow top. A firm, old-fashioned mattress is the best. I thought this bed would be it, but I should have known it had too much padding. I would definitely consider an old Beautyrest model, if still sold as new. Note: we are average weight people, and the bed looks like two cows slept in it. He is 6+ft/200, I am 5'4/125.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress is true to size and thickness. It is firm but not too hard that it would hurt your shoulders and back. Too soon to determine durability but it is thick so I would expect it to last a while.

It’s made to relieve pressure and to keep you cool and dry at night while asleep. It’s extremely durable and even though it costs more than a traditional mattress, it will give you the best sleep of your life and last for much longer than the other beds.

It has been a drastic change from a more firm mattress to a softer mattress. I see how my husband is able to sleep more hours without having to wake up tired. It is a great choice.

Love, love my Beautyrest firm pillow top! Super comfy and still provides the support I need. I've tried so many different mattresses and finally decided to splurge on Beautyrest so I would finally get the best sleep. A good nights sleep is so important so splurge for this mattress; you won't regret it!

Supportive but very comfortable due to the pillow top. I love that you can go all the way to the very side of the bed and still feel like you are in the middle of it. Two people sleeping on this is perfect. No need for a king size Love this bed

It is for sure the most comfortable mattress that I have ever slept on and the quality is excellent. The pillow top is definitely a plus, it adds the perfect level of comfort. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is so nice! It is just the right amount of firm and plushy to provide both support and comfort at the same time. It doesn’t trap heat which is nice as often times I can get overheated at night which leads to bad sleep. It seems to be much better constructed than my previous mattress and in the future I will be replacing my old mattress with ones like this one!!

So far it’s been great. I have noticed on my husbands side though it is starting to cave in a little. We rotate the mattress every month so I hope this doesn’t cause an issue. But he used to have shoulder issues and those have gone away since getting this mattress.

I have slept on a Beautyrest for the last 10 years and loved it. I just got the Beautyrest Black series 2 to replace that one and I am so excited to sleep on it. The mattress itself is very luxurious and high quality. I have not slept on it yet, but laying on it in the store and when they delivered it, I know this mattress is perfect. It is firm and yet soft and I am looking forward to testing the cooling technology in this mattress.
