I had been used the Scotch tape (red) since I was little kid in the 1960s. I still remember the Scotch tape dispensered metal holder. I had been bought the cheaper transparent tape from 5c and 10c stores and it were turned yellow then I switched the Scotch brand names (transparent tape) in the 1970s. When I worked in the office use green Scotch Tape (Magic Tape) for seal the mail for the security.

The transparency and glossiness of the tape makes my gifts and other items special and neat. You can almost not even see the tape on the wrapping. This is definately the first choice of brand for me.
