Good Morning I have installed several of these type generators over a few years as an electrician. In that process I have seen several changes to your product all to make it better and easier to install and maintain. This is the first I have installed for myself and the way the connections are maid with the front of the generator opening and the cables to the breaker is the best I have seen and love it. I just received a 30 KW for a customer and will install it a month or two when the house is finished and expect it to be a great product as well. We have had this Generator for a very short time. However, we have had a generator at another location, which led us to purchase this one for our current home. We are very pleased with Generac. It's appearance is streamlined, it is very easy to access for data, etc., and the noise level is low. The features are exactly as we wanted, auto switch, etc.

Installed April 2017 right next to service entrance. Looks very nice and reassuring. My wife and I feel a weight lifted. No more 20 below January nights yanking on a pull-cord with stiff oil in the pan. First power outage came this June, in 45 seconds we had power and there was no hint when the power came back and the generator turned off. We have the 22kw standalone. One thing to remember. The generator comes set for a delay start up time of only 5 seconds. Every little power hit or sag will have the generator starting and stopping. Only your approved service installer can change that time. We had ours changed to 30 seconds. No only real power failures turn the generator on. Comes on every Saturday morning for 10 minutes. Connected to its own 500 gallon propane tank. Worth every cent at 73 years old. Save a lot of money the closer to your service entrance you can get. Buy the biggest generator you can afford, I suggest the biggest.

We have built several house over the last 30 years and was always going to have a generac but always waited to last thing and money ran out. Well we just built our retirement home and bought a 22kw generac before we drew the plans. We'll the first two weeks after installation since we live in tornado alley lost power twice once at 2am for 8hrs and then 6hrs. At last bam the propane generator fired right up and we had glorious power AC and lights. Money well spent.

In our new home, we are totally dependent on electricity. our Generac 22kw gives us a peace of mind in the event of outage to power the whole house. And with the transfer switch, no need to do any manual thing. More, it's quiet. I would definitively recommend this. Thank you!

We live in the country and being isolated wanted to be secure in our all electric home. The Generac back up generator was the size we needed for full home back up, could run on propane and had the load shedding feature we wanted. It is powerful and reasonably economical so that we can be self-sufficient for up to 30 days. Given the uncertainties of today, this is what we wanted. Unit has all the remote inlaces you could want and operation completely automatically. Our Generac dealer did the install and does the routine service. He is expert and responsive. This was a great investment and no doubt has increased the value of our home.

We are very pleased with this Generac generator. The unit was hooked up Oct 2016. It has come on twice already; once for 8 hrs and once for 4 hrs. It performed exactly as advertised. We like the maintenance cycle that is programmed to run every 2 weeks. There is some low level noise, but it is not a problem for us or our neighbors. We purchased the Generac 22 kw Guardian system in October of 2015. I installed it over the next several months as I had the time. A few months later we had a power outage for about 5 hours. When the power went off the Generac powered up in about 15 seconds. Wonderful! I am writing this review 2 hours after our power has been restored this morning January 25, 2017 at 8:45 am. We had a very bad ice storm on January 14, 2017 and thousands of people have been without power. Many still have no electricity as I write this. We gave this generator a very good 10 days and 9 hour workout. My wife and I highly recommend this generator.
