Even though we've only gotten to use our generator for 3 hours since installation, my husband and I appreciate the fact that if and when we do lose power, we don't have to drag out the portable genny, fill her up with gas and oil and repeat that every 4 hours. We look at this as "our retirement dollars at work"! So glad we decided to have Family Electric install this for us!!!

We operate a child day care and we purchased a 22KW Generac due to constant power outages in my area. This product far exceeds the expectations I had. The first week after installation we lost power for four hours the generator immediately started, transfer was made in a few seconds and the A/C came back on in four minutes. Very impressive and it ran for the four hours flawlessly. Scheduled operations run are accurate as can be. I highly recommend this product.

Decision to purchase was made to accommodate (mostly) the electric wheel chair that my husband now requires. Our electric has since been off twice since the purchase for several hours each time, but the generator immediately took over and we hardly noticed. I don't know why we didn't make this purchase years ago.

this unit was a replacement for a 18kw generac , it only lasted for less than 500 hours less than 8 years old. current one 22kw on its first weekend run, it started to have a slight surge. found the air filter had to much fire retardant on it changed out for new now its ok. hope this one lasts longer!

We had the 22kW Generac installed the Autumn of 2016. Our 1st power outage of the season occurred a couple of weeks ago. The outage started at 10:30pm, just as everyone was prepping for bedtime. 10 seconds after the outage begun we had FULL power. No problems, the generator shut down automatically after residential power was restored, and our electric service was automatically cut over to AC. WOW !! No more lugging out the portable generator!. We also installed the battery heater and oil filter heater - cold climates.

The first time I needed my generator, thee was a problem with "hunting" for the core ct RPM. I called a local dealer for repairs. He adjusted fuel mix, and said the problem was resolved. The next start up, I had the same issue. This time, he replaced the mixer. Weeks later, there was a loud buzzing fr the mixer. Once again. I got a new mixer. Problem solved, for now.

I purchased this product for the new home I just built. My wife and I are in our 60's and wanted to ensure we had backup power should we ever need it. Had an issue with motherboard but Generac warranty replaced it and back up generator unit now seems to working well. Bought Generac because of long term manufacturer and trusted trade name

Generator works as marketed. During Hurricane Matthew we lost power, our Generac generator started within seconds and we were with power the entire outage. I like the Mobile Link feature that sends email and txt messages keeping me informed of the generator self test and status.

Within a month of installation of our Generac Home House Generator, our power went out. As promised, the generator kicked on within 30 seconds. Our living routine DID NOT CHANGE during this 8 hour outage. We ran the Washer, Dryer, and Dishwasher simultaneously, along with our big screen TV. Would never know we lost our regular source of power!
