One week after installation we lost power and my Generac engaged within 20 seconds and ran for the next four hours. This unit runs smoothly and quietly. Simple design blends nicely with my house. Looking forward its reliability this coming winter. Would recommend installation for any home for the piece of mind it gives.

We had a major ice storm in October 2020 in Oklahoma and we were without power for 7 days. Living in the country that seem like a lifetime. We are a total electric home and that includes the well pump. No electricity means no well pump and that means no water ! We decided to invest in a Generac and we are so happy we did - it is worth all the money we paid to have peace of mind. Over the 4th of July 2022 we had a power outage for 2 1/2 house. It was 99 degrees outside but with OK humidity, it felt like 105. Your house can heat up pretty fast but as soon as the power went off, the generator started up and we back up and running with electricity. I highly recommend investing in a Generac !!!

My wife and I consider this a luxury , we waited 47 years to get this ,as there were always other priorities. Here in our little town of Saline , we loose power all too often. Amazing less than 24 hours after completing the hook up the power went out. Oh, but not here , wow I almost slept through it . Than we were so excited it was hard to get back to sleep..... Our 24kw Guardian Generator was installed yesterday. Ordered in October but due to hurricanes in our state, all generators are on backorder. Our Generac installer arrived at 8am and was done by Noon. Had a certified plumber installing our NG line on site as well. Everything went flawlessly. Generator tested, ran everything in our home and is now in standby and online via Mobile Link. Purchased a 10 year warranty for peace of mind. We have had 2 hurricanes and a recent winter ice storm impact our power in the past 12 months......and we live in town! Now, we are ready for this season!

Excellent constructed and designed unit. Easy serviceable by a handy person. Able to operate my entire house during power outages without problems. Installed in a few hours with minimum power outage or fuel interruption. Excellent workmanship. Installation was neat and very professional. Absolutely would highly recommend this unit.

We have a Large Home with two Geothermal Furnaces, 3 Floors with multiple bathrooms and kitchens. Testing showed we would be able to turn all lights, run furnaces, well and necessary appliances during a power outage. It was hooked to the whole house, but of course we would not run all appliances at the same time during a storm. The peace of mind is very reassuring if we do have a power outage for an extended period of time.

We live in an farming area with a high water table, and drainage around our house that keeps our basement dry comes back into the house to our sump pit. We've had 4 instances over the last 2 years where power was disrupted for extended times and our sump pit started overflowing forcing us to rent a portable generator. In addition the fridge in our kitchen started to thaw and leak water on the floor. My wife kept hounding me until I finally got a whole house generator to ensure we didn't have to worry anymore. We've finally planned a much needed vacation in the spring and won't have to worry anymore about a power outage and out basement flooding while we're away.

We tried to face quite a few Hurricane Seasons with A Gasoline Generator and Solar back up. Both were not adequate. Also living in a contry setting, all electric includin Well for water and freeze up happening in the winter we decided it was time to be really ready. The demonstration after hook up enforced our faith that we should not have to worry any more.

I have only had this generator for 3 months but it has already worked flawlessly during a 90 minute power outage. I got the cold weather kit (Chicago winters) and the mobile link app which sends status updates to your cell phone/tablet/pc so you can check on status while you are away from home. Just make sure you hire a professional who has good reviews for installing these since there are some complexities. I also had the gas company install a larger meter since in the winter with furnaces running there would not be enough gas volume to power the generator and two furnaces simultaneously (just a phone call and $100 to gas company). Generator looks good and runs more quietly that I expected (about same level as a lawn mower). After incurring $20k in water damage from a recent storm when the sump backup battery ran out of power (18 hour outage) I thought this would be a good investment.

We purchased our generator from Gentech, in Ottawa. The team from Gentech did excellent work, the unit looks really good, and it was placed on a custom concrete slab. We haven't had an outage yet, but it does "wake up" every week, runs for 5 minutes, then shuts off. The office staff at Gentech are also a pleasure to deal with. Sheena and Jim.
