BOTH times were an absolute nightmare to fold up. I am so upset with myself for purchasing these chairs. Do not waste your money. It is a true struggle. We even tried pulling up the center of the seat and nothing. Multiple family members tried.

Spent a half hour trying to close it. Went on website to see if anyone eles was experiencing the same problem. I was surprised that their was quite a few that had the same problem. Taking it back today.

Just grab the fabric at the edge of the seat and back, pull up quickly and it closes fine. If you try to close it like a cheaper camp chair, you will have a lot of trouble. It's great for taller people. The sturdy armrests are a step up from all other camp chairs in this price range!Catherine
- 2 out of 5 stars review6/27/2025Have 2 of these. Had no problem till going to the beach for the 1st time. Had to leave my husbands chair behind at the garbage can because it would not fold back up. My husband is pretty strong but when ur standing on a hot beach trying and trying to fold up a chair it becomes a problem when it was just sat on prior to walking to the beach. Mine was even hard to close but luckily it closed. Very unhappy with these chairs.

It's better made and more comfortable than chairs that can cost 3 times as much. I ordered more chairs within half an hour of trying it out. Sent messages to a couple of my buddies so they can get a couple also. Looks to be well made, sturdy for larger people and pretty comfortable too.

I want them everywhere, hence me buying another set, because they seem to be in a camper, 4 wheeler, everyone loves them so I need my set to keep for ME! They fold and CARRY amazingly easy, the carry part is everything. No silly bag, I don't use them, I just fold, lock and go. They are the most comfy, I can't sit in those sloppy chairs that kill your back and have cheap straps that fall apart. amybamy - 5 out of 5 stars review7/28/2025This is a great chair and best price I've found for a chair that supports 325 lbs. Cup holder is huge. Straps secure chair when folded up and there is a carry strap on the chair so you don't need to put it in the bag to carry it. Over 18" tall from ground to seat, so easy to get in and out of. Two colors in my store. The Periwinkle color is very pretty. The back of the chair puts you slightly reclined when sitting in it. Nice quality.
