This chair is not for rocking. It does not rock smoothly, and I can't rock at all when it is on grass. Fortunately for me, I am content with it because it is for my patio and I don't mind just having a little motion. It seems sturdy and I like that it folds for storage.

I just got it so I can't speak to durability yet, but it seems very sturdy. It is so comfortable. I like the mesh inserts because it will keep your back from getting hot. It is easy to open and close. I am so happy with it that I just ordered another one.

I bought one last year knowing nothing about them and here is my take. I truly fell in love with this chair that is a rocker and not only me, everyone time I went somewhere people tried it out and also fell in love with it!! My mom and dad got them one each,my uncle got one and so on.... I am a big guy at 300 plus lbs and this holds me up great! I cant say enough good things about it as well as my family...

We have bought 3 of these for camping - the plastic clips that lock the chairs into the sitting position have broken on 2 of them after the first year of use. Loved them in the beginning but sitting in them only to have them collapse to the floor under you is not fun - this has happened to my husband at 225 pounds and to me at 150 pounds. The plastic does not seem to last more than a year or so.
