The pillow top is soft, and the mattress is firm, so no back ache! I slept like a baby. It is heavy and can be hard to change the sheets.

The firm was a little too firm for me so medium I went! Coming from a mattress that I was fully in love with, but couldn't purchase again because of the type of bed I wanted I bought Stearns and Foster without even laying on it! Doesn't disappoint. It is so comfortable my pressure points are relieved. It's been very nice thus far, I recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought that a medium mattress would have some firmness to it instead my body just sunk into the mattress and i felt like i was lying in a hole, very,very disappointed.This was almost the same as the lux estate hybrid plush which i owned very briefly and was a terrible mattress.I hope to do better next time.

I had not been charged for my mattress for over a month, I called Stearn and Foster tried to get past the automated attendant, but it kept saying to re-phrase my question. Tracking your order is a joke, there are no details. Managment needs to make some customer-oriented changes. When you spend more money you expect better service.

We are both very tall and need a supportive, spacious mattress so that we don't sink into the middle of the bed. After not having any luck at the big mattress stores, we had a family member recommend the S&F Reserve Medium King mattress and we could not be happier. This bed is incredibly comfortable and supportive and suits many different sleeping styles. This mattress truly changed the way we sleep - We are no longer sinking into the middle and the weight distribution in the mattress feels like you are sleeping alone. We also are sleeping much more comfortably, deeper, and feel so much more refreshed and pain free in the morning. There was no "break in" period and the mattress consistently feels the same, always comfortable. You can tell this mattress is super high quality just by the weight of it- It weighs a ton. The mattress also has a ventilation system which I have never seen before. We also love that the mattress is a dark color so over time it will not stain like a standard white bed. We use white sheets and you cannot see the blue through. The delivery process was quick and seamless. Overall, we are so happy with our new bed 10/10!

Because I am a side sleeper and have shoulder problems, I went to local retail mattress providers to test various products. Hands down, the best mattress for me is the Stearns and Foster Lux Hybrid-firm. I love my mattress, no shoulder pain and I highly recommend this mattress. Don't let the firm mislead you, try it out. With both of us having various ongoing back and joint pains, decided to go for it. It's been one week and felt the difference after one day - sleeping through the night, not waking up with pain / pressure points and overall less body pain in the morning. This is after switching from a mid-level price point mattress. In this situation, you do get what you are paying extra for - the value is there. Now I just need it to maintain form / not dip after a few months like so many mattresses across the industry did that were constructed in 2020/2021
