positive reviews on these containers. I purchased multiple sets, and now with only two months of use, the plastic has cracked all over, to the point in which the bottom is about to come apart. They have only been hand washed, have never been in the freezer, and never in the microwave for longer than 5 mins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tupperware is such nice quality, it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy or like it’s going to melt in the dishwasher like some of the cheaper ones that I get. I was surprised how secure the lid fit onto the base. It has the two flaps on the side to hold it down but also the rubber lining makes a tight seal with the body so you have to pull at it a bit to get it off. Awesome for any soups or saucy foods. And it’s lightweight!! This would definitely be the one that I would bring out with me to pack lunches and things. Also, the vent holes are really nice so I can stop using paper towels or paper plates to stop the splatter all over my microwave. I highly recommend!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is actually Leak proof! Some claim to be and aren't. tabs snap together nicely, other products are harder to deal but not this. It's a good size but I can see this product will get scratched easily. The lid was scratched by the time I got home. Easy reheat and handwashes well. No pasta sauce was left behind. I put pasta in it and reheated and it didn't become discoloured so that was a nice surprise! Tossed it around no leaks through the seal

I use this product for putting my food into; especially the soupy kinds. The best part is that it won't leak if it's bumped around or squeezed because the container is quite strong and rigid; and there are two locking latches on the sides of the lid. Even though my fingers are yellow from chopping tumeric and garlic, the plastic won't stain or retain odours even if I use it with yellow curry.

The Rubbermaid Brilliance Food Storage Container is great for storing stews, soups etc. I was very skeptical at first as I've tried a lot of different containers and they would leak. I was surprised and happy at the same time that for once my food did spill. I will defiantly will be getting more to use for the whole family and recommend this it to everyone.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I recently had the opportunity to try Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE free through Shopper Army. I really found this to be a true leak roof seal. I didn't worry at all about my kids throwing it around in their lunch kit. I liked how the lid stayed tight even with the vents unlocked, so there was no splatter in the microwave. The only thing I didn't like is how the corners of the lid stick out further than the container so they make a tempting spot to carry it, which could be messy to an unsuspecting person. Because there is more lid area to hold on to, my son decided to carry it by the unlocked snaps. It didn't go well. I would like to see more of a "handle" on the actual container. Other than that one dislike, I was very happy with the Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE, and I plan on getting more.

The containers seal well but the number of containers in the set is misleading. When you order a "10 piece set" you are really only getting 5 containers. I don't think that lids should count as a "piece" especially when you can't even mix and match the containers and lids.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I finally found the container after a lot of hunting and our local store had them hidden in shelves of water bottles for some reason. I was happy with how easy it was to wash the container and lid. Much moreso than some of the competitors. I stored in it a bunch of leftover butter chicken which is notorious for staining any and everything and have yet to see any stains. Yay! The only thing I was and still am hesitant about is the supposed vents. I keep looking at the latches and trying to determine just how those would truly vent the dish in the microwave and thus I just cannot bring myself to try that feature. I envision microsplatter and hours cleaning. It does have a great seal though as I learned when I was half asleep and stored the dish upside down in the fridge by accident.

Rubbermaid Brilliance leak proof container claims to be airtight and leakproof and I can honestly say it 100% was. I put both hot and cold liquids in it and gave it a good shake and nothing spilled either time. The vents on the side allowed me to microwave my liquid with no splatter or lid popping off like other containers I've used. The container did not pick up any flavours or smells from the things (both soup and coffee) I heated in it which is great, especially if you use it to hold both savory and sweet things. The container is made from a very durable plastic which I tested by accidentally dropping it on the floor. Nothing broke or chipped so if you're clumsy like me you'll like this container. I recommend it and will definitely purchase a few more!

I love bringing soup to work and beforeI even filled this container with soup I had to do a mini test. I filled it with water and shook it vigorously. I was amazed by how well sealed this container was. Leak-proof - check! It is BPA-free which is always good and the container is clear so you can see all your food - check! I love the built-in vent underneath the latch. This prevents any splatter while the food gets heated up in the microwave - check! I had brought in pasta many times and you know how tomato sauce stains but this container looks brand new and no lingering pasta smell - check check! As with most containers they all pretty much stack up neatly so check! And last but not least I've used the microwave option but haven't tried out the dishwasher or freezer but I'm sure it wouldn't disappoint so check! I can say I'm honestly impressed with Rubbermaid brilliance container. I think one thing that I don't like about it is how it is plastic instead of glass. I have been using glass containers forever. I would definately purchase this again because it would be great packing lunches for the kids as they're too young for glass containers. It might accidentally slip and break. I would definately recommend it to those who does not mind using plastic because it is a great product.
